I bought these to put around my 65 gallon trash bags that I also ordered that fit in our new trash can. Our trash service has provided us with cans that are picked up by their truck and emptied. The can has a lid with a hinge so I put the bands around the front of the can and with the lid open I pulled the back of trash bag and rubber band over the hinge a little bit and closed it. I tossed about 4 garbage bags in it during the week and it stayed in place and the truck emptied it and the bag and the plastic bands were still attached! Definitely recommend.

Having purchased a new big garbage can on wheels, the only thing missing was a bag big enough to fit it. For years I was stretching and trying to stretch a 55 gallon bag into an 85 gallon container. When I bought an even bigger can, I knew there had to be a better way. Amazon had the right bags and these super useful rubber bands to keep the bag in place during the week. I have used the first band now for well over 10 weeks and it still works great! These bands are super resilient and will last. Long long time. No more garbage outside of the bag when I toss them into the lined can with one of these holders around it. Would strongly recommend this product. You will be happy with the result.

These 26" rubber bands for the 64-65 gallon trash tote are so helpful. Now I can toss a bag of garbage into the tote and not have to hang onto the bag with one hand or have the bag fall in and the garbage go outside the bag. They are very easy to put in place and to remove. When it is time to take the tote out for collection I take the band off and tie a knot on the bag. I hang the band up until the tote is brought back, then I put in a fresh bag and hold it in place with the band till next collection day.

Ordered these several times & they do their job well! We've only had one band snap on us. My husband has to put them on because you have to have the strength to pull them around.
