Having been around Amazon for awhile, I've learned that it's pretty risky to buy something with no reviews because there's probably a reason for that and that reason might not be because it's too new. I got it anyway and here's my experience.I got this for the fingerprint reader, because it works with Win 10 and by combining it with a mouse it didn't take any more room from my already space-challenged desk. There probably aren't many who will be considering this for the mouse itself but it's perfectly adequate *as* a mouse; I found the side-buttons a little difficult to push but that's not a major problem and the tracking, shape, and movement are fine. If it's just a mouse you're looking for, though, there are much better alternatives for the price and many better alternatives for a lot lower price. It's a standard 5-button mose. Most will probably be considering this for the fingerprint reader because, after having this feature on a phone and a laptop, it's hard NOT to have it on a desktop; and constantly typing passwords gets old very quickly. So how does it work as a fingerprint reader/password manager? OK, sorta. The product consists of a fingerprint reader, software to set up the reader & mouse button profiles and password manager software which allows biometric access to windows, file encryption, and websites. There are 4 minor-to-medium irritations with all of this.Irritation #1 is the placement of the reader on the mouse. It's on the front left side of the mouse, and it doesn't work well for a right-handed user to move their thumb up to press it; at least, it's an art I have yet to master (for a left-handed user, it actually might be easier to reach with the ring finger. Maybe). As a result, I have to lift the mouse, turn it on its side and place my thumb over the reader. The process is kind of awkward and although it's a press-type reader rather than a swipe, it still usually takes a couple of tries to activate it. What would've been better is to place the reader on top of the mouse, such that the user need only slide their finger down on the device to press the reader.Irritation #1 is a thing, but not too bad of a thing.Irritation #2 is that the password manager can only work with IE, Firefox & Google's-version of Chrome. That's because the manager works at the browser level rather than the windows level so it need extensions. Even though the software is compatible with Win 10, it's not compatible with Microsoft's Edge browser because of that. I also couldn't get this to work with Vivaldi, my chosen flavor of Chrome even when I brought the extension into Vivaldi. All other chrome extensions work just fine in Vivaldi.Irritation #2 is that I can't use my preferred browser. Again, not too bad of a thing but still.Irritation #3 is their set up of the password manager. The instructions were clearly written by an ESL person with a fondness for Google translate who lacked the ability to edit. Some of the instructions were just plain nonsensical and that was a problem, but not the big problem. The big problem is that the password manager software allows you to first set it up using any of a PIN or your Windows password OR the fingerprint reader AND (as far a I can tell) IF you set it up with a PIN or password THEN A) you can't then use your fingerprint in the password manager B) the file encryption doesn't seem to work and C) the password manager apparently doesn't save any website logins. At least, that's what happened to me the first time I set up the manager. It was only when I deleted everything -- including the fingerprint setup -- and tried again setting the fingerprint as the option to access the password manager that everything suddenly worked. Maybe it was a just a one-off glitch or maybe it was something I did initially, but that was a problem.Irritation #3 was a big thing because, after wrestling with this for about an hour (trying new browsers, uninstalling/re-installing the extensions, etc.) I was ready to give up and send this back. It eventually worked, though, as intended.Setting up the fingerprint reader itself was about the same as with my phone & laptop, and was not a problem. Just like those devices, it allows you to program all 10 fingers.Overall, what I like about this is what I like about all biometric devices ... it makes password hassles go away. I also like the fingerprint file encryption. What I don't like is the awkward placement of the reader on the mouse. Would I buy this again? No. I *really* liked the mouse it replaced and given its awkward nature I'd choose another device and simply make room for it on my desk (and if you saw the multiple monitors and bunch of other stuff crammed onto this thing, you'd know that's quite a statement). Still, it works and I'll keep it.

Murky and frustrating setup process, fingerprint reading dicey, RETURNING
The setup couldn't have been more frustrating and poorly explained. My guess is they don't care one way or the other what the user setup experience is. Once finally resolved, the mouse is ok, the fingerprint reader is sketchy. Would've preferred a top-mounted fingerprint reader than side-mounted because the side mount really only allows for one easy finger placement - the thumb. If your thumb isn't pristine and moist and supple, you're screwed and have to start the contortion of angling your arms and hands to get to the sensor. Not the right design. Returning because I purchased for the fingerprint reader, but it only works about 2% of the time.

Amazing Mouse
This mouse is amazing and the scanner is accurate and super-fast, I am very happy with my purchase, all you need is to know how to set it up, which is not clear at the beginning. In order to make it works perfectly, you have to: 1) be sure to install the correct driver file [Tt eSPORTS Command Center V2.0012.exe or newer version]; and 2) DO NOT FORGET to disable the option to save power for the sensor named: [Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power].After that, you will not suffer from the sensor and it will work all of the time perfectly even with the latest windows updates.Update 2020-12-12: bought another one so I can enjoy using it in both of the office and my home 👍

Doesn't work as mouse.
Roughly 30% of the time on boot or on wake it would not function as a mouse and Windows would say "One of the USB devices attached to your computer has malfunctioned, and Windows does not recognize it.” I tested it in several USB ports and I've used 4 other mice, 3 keyboards, a webcam and four memory sticks in the USB ports in question with no problems.I contacted technical support and exchanged my mouse and the second one behaved exactly the same.As a fingerprint reader, it would sometimes work with windows, sometimes work with LastPass and sometimes not work at all, on the boots that it worked with windows it would report in device manager as "Windows Fingerprint Reader" and not work with LastPass, on boots that it didn't work with windows it would often report as "Fingerprint Reader" and then it would work with lastpass.
