SanitaPU-Coated Leather Clogs for Women - Arch Support, Durable, Closed-Back, APMA-Approved Slip-On Shoes

I've been wearing these shoes for ten years and still love them. They hold together well and give long-lasting comfort. Keep me going on my feet longer.

Bought my favorite clog in size 36. Much tighter than last pair. Hoping it will loosen up with wear.

I have worn this brand for many years. I found them superior to other major clog brands, and what made it better for me was that they are made in Poland and not China, like most everything else. Recently, they changed the sizing chart. I had to go up a size. The fit was perfect on the first pair. What could be improved is the heel cup is visible on the outside of the shoe. I also purchased this same exact shoe in a different color and they were larger - approximately a half size. I never had these issues in the past with Sanita shoes. They are still worth buying. I gave them a 5 because overall I like that they are still made in Europe.

I work for a medical retailer where we are constantly standing and walking all day. I am typically a Dansko and Alegria wearer (I love both!), but my shoes weren’t cutting it anymore.I traditionally have a higher arch and instep and had used Sanita in the past. I loved the support! They are different from Dansko despite the similar design.I ordered these shoes, mostly because of the great price. When I got these, there were a few surprises, (had I fully read specs/reviews I would have already known).First off the leather is PU, which simply means it is not real leather. In turn, that means it will scuff easier but it will also be lighter and possibly break in faster. I scuffed these the 3rd day I wore them to work. They also felt “broken in” on that 3rd day.Second, these are not like traditional clogs in the sense that they have a thin foam sole. They are not hard. I didn’t know how I would feel about that since I like that extra firm support, but... these have been so pleasant! I have been wearing these for about 2 months and they’ve just gotten better.Third is simply my concern when people buy shoes like this. Please understand, traditional clogs like this are supposed to fit different from normal shoes. Since I was familiar with European sizes and Sanita I ordered the correct size. Proper fit means the top of the shoe (padded area) should initially fit a little snug as to hold the shoe on. That is because the back of the shoe should slip! Your heel should not be flush with the back; a pinky finger width of room is appropriate. There are multiple reasons behind this but the most notable is so you have a natural gait while you walk.And last, the height is great! They appear to be the same height as Dansko but actually are about 1/2 inch shy of that Dansko height which makes them less stressful to walk in (talk about buckled ankles) and more ergonomical.Overall, if you’re ok with fake leather go with these! If not, you’re gonna have to pay a little more. I would recommended these to medical professionals or anyone who is standing all day. If you’re unsure about the size, maybe locate a specialty shoe store in your area and see what they recommend.

My last pair of Sanita's lasted me 11 years and the soles started to crack in half. I'm so glad Amazon is an approved vendor because I felt like if the new style of Sanita didn't fit right I could return them without any issues. My old pair was a 38, it was suggested I size up this time around so I went with a 39. They fit great .. the width is slightly more narrow than my old ones (could be I broke those old ones in after so many years) but I think someone with wide feet would need a wide style of clog. Luckily my feet fit these like a glove. I wear mine without socks, always have, not sure why. Once I got these in the mail I threw them on sockless and was good to go. No blisters, nothing, it was like I had them for years. Now the trick is keeping them away from the puppy we got for Christmas!

I like these a lot. They have more cushioning than other Sanitas or Danskos I've tried. They give a little bit when you walk and are very comfortable. But that comes with the arch support not being as firm, too, so if you need a lot of arch support or have high arches, you might want a more traditional Sanita or Dansko. These are also much more stable than my very old Danskos, which caused me to roll my ankles and/or fall a lot. I was actually told by a shoe salesman that the old Danskos had been redesigned because so many people rolled their ankles (which is hardly what your podiatrist is recommending). I compared and the the heel in the Sanita is about 1/2 inch larger in diameter than my old Danskos, making it more stable. However, my entire foot, not just my heel, feels like it's going to come out of the shoe when I walk quickly. I think the top doesn't come up as far as my old Danskos because I don't feel that way wearing them. The other problem with Sanitas is that the sizing is really irregular from shoe to shoe. I wear an 8 typically, and 8 1/2 in athletic shoes, and the 39 fit perfectly in this shoe but was much too short in another Sanita (but the 40 was huge). These shoes, however, are not as attractive as my Danskos or some other Sanitas. They really look pretty orthopedic looking, which is a shame.
