LED unit Front Scanner Set (Orange) (japan import) by Aoshima

This LED scanner is intended for Aoshima's K.A.R.R. model kits, and they also make a red LED scanner for their K.I.T.T. model kits. Unfortunately Aoshima decided to mold the K.A.R.R. model kit's clear scanner part in translucent orange instead of yellow, and this add-on LED scanner is indeed orange instead of yellow. That's just as it should be per Aoshima's description, but incorrect when compared with screen footage clearly showing K.A.R.R.'s scanner as yellow (ignoring K.A.R.R.'s debut in "KITT vs KARR" where both scanners were red). I intend to swap out the LEDs on this product with yellow ones, but in case anybody might be wondering how "orange" this scanner really is, it's more towards the red end of orange than the yellow end.

極小のチップLEDが横一列に配列、半田付けされていますが半田付けの仕事が雑でLEDが上下にバラバラと微妙にズレて半田付けされていました。プラモデルのドレスアップでそのまま組み込むには致命的です。流れるような横往復の点滅のはずが横にジグザグしながら流れてるように見えてしまうので・・・修正するには小さなチップLEDを熱で故障させないように素早く確実な半田付けをするスキルが必要になるでしょう。残光回路の出来は申し分無いだけに勿体無いです。
