AngQi Pregnancy Body Pillow with Velvet Cover, U Shaped Body Pillow (Dark Purple)

Love this product. It’s usually a pregnancy pillow but I used it for my back pain with sciatica. It’s soft and comfortable.

I didn't buy this because I'm pregnant. I started a new medication for my migraines which seemed to be helping, but would wake up some mornings feeling like someone took a baseball bat to my forehead. I realized that everytime I woke up like that, I was sleeping flat on my back, so I bought this pillow to see if it would help me stay on my side. It's only been a week, but I haven't woken up once with that headache pain. The pillow keeps me on my side, or if I do roll back, I'm still at an angle and my head seems to remain sideways. I don't understand the correlation, but it really seems to be helping. I love feeling completely snuggled in it and love using it before sleep to sit up and read. My husband told me he hates it though ... because I didn't get one for him. (There was definitely a reason I ordered it with the pink pillow case!)

I have an upcoming shoulder replacement surgery and needed something that I could use in my recliner as well as bed for support. This pillow met and exceeded what I needed. It is very comfortable and provides excellent support. The company sent a separate email to ensure that I had full information on how to unpack it as offered support if needed. Excellent!

*UPDATE* I am currently 3 months PP and I have some new thoughts.This pillow was really helpful through the end of my pregnancy. It helped with my hip/ back pain and definitely helped with the end of pregnancy discomfort.However, the material made me SO HOT at the end. I would wake up covered in sweat…so much so that I thought my water broke one evening. So don’t go with the velvet material!Also, I wish I would have gotten a longer length.Overall, I would recommend!I am 24 weeks pregnant currently and have been having a lot of hip/ligament pain while sleeping. The pain was getting so bad that I was waking up 8-10 times during the night. As soon as I got into bed and situated the pillow I felt instant relief for my hip pain!*I ordered this Friday and it was delivered Saturday afternoon.*I am 5 ft 7in and ordered the 60in pillow. It is the perfect length for my feet to have a place to rest. The 55in pillow would have been too short.*the velvet is very soft and helped keep me warm (my husband loves to sleep in a cold room). I could see the velvet causing some to be too warm during the night, but I loved it! It’s like a soft fuzzy blanket.*I added one of my normal pillows under this to help prop up my head and that helped with my comfort as well.*the only annoying thing was the endless waking up to pee and then having to readjust the pillow every time I got up/got back in bed but that has nothing to do with quality of the pillow-just know if you’re waking up a lot it could get annoying constantly having to readjust.
