Bought for my 5 yo grandson. He loves it. I got the gold 16 in chain. He wore it for about 2 mo before it caught on something and broke. For him that is impressive. We were able to repair. Has not tarnished and he wore it in the shower and pool. Nice for the price and sturdy.

I don’t know what these people are doing that their chains are breaking. The necklace came just as the photo displays, and is the perfect length- not too long or short. If you want simplicity, this is your go to - if you want something different and of gold color, this is an option. I bought this as a gift for a young boy’s communion because I wanted something religious, and I did try it on and it is fine for all ages not just for kids- even slept with it and it didn’t break. Nothing about this necklace makes it specifically and solely “for kids”- anyone can wear it. The packaging was awesome, I really liked that it was handled with care and nicely presented with the cute little jewelry box and clear pouch thing- well packaged. Bottom line- This is great if you want a Christian necklace that is simple- and it could be for any age-just a simple gold color cross.
