This brown edition is just like leather and very durable and soft. The commentary agrees with my beliefs and I read it everyday. This Bible is so worth the price!

I love the Bible but there is a smell so bad that I can't really enjoy reading it. I don't know if it's the ink or the material the Bible is made of. Can someone help and tell me how get rid of the smell.

KJV translation is a time tested beautiful translation. When I immigrated to U.S, my first English Bible was KJV. Though sometimes it was hard to understand, I began to appreciate its beauty and accuracy. This KJV Foundation Study Bible (Large Print) is an excellent choice for those who prefer large print KJV translation with study notes:PROS:1. The font (11 point) is clear and very legible, thus comfortable to read. Even the study notes are clear and legible - I do not need to squint.2. The material is very good. The leatherflex is soft and it helps to open the Bible flat. It comes with 2 ribbon markers (for OT & NT) which is nice. It is also Smyth-sewn binding (stitched and not glued to the spine), so the pages will not easily fall apart.3. The study helps are good enough though not always deep or detailed. It comes with study notes, cross references, concordance, and colored maps. For many, the study helps will be useful.CONS:1. Post-production quality is questionable. I have Nahum through Malachi books came with scrunched pages on the top and the bottom. This might be just an exception for my copy, so others may be all OK.2. The slip case is too thin. I was hoping that it would be thicker & laminated to protect the Bible from elements, but it is not.All in all, this is a great choice for those who prefer large print KJV translation with useful study notes.
