Love everything about this set

the bowl looks nice and the whisk seems to be a good quality, considering it is mass-produced in china. from comments, it was clear that the bowl was small in size. but since it came as part of this set, i thought the whisk too would be be small enough to accomodate this tiny bowl. i had a small whisk from japan that whisked matcha beautifully and lasted for 3 years. hoped this whisk will be a cheap replacement. unfortunately, the whisk in this set is standard in size, meaning it was made for standard size match bowls, which are traditionally 5+ inches. with a small bowl like this, and a large whisk, the whisk will be scrapping the size of the bowl, damaging bamboo tines.the whisk shaper is black and shiny, and it looks nice next to a bowl. of course, it is only needed to re-shape the whisk when tines get out of shape with continuous use. otherwise, as others commented, it puts too much pressure on delicate tines of the whisk.if you like whisking matcha in a separate large bowl, and then transfer it to this small bowl just for drinking it, this set might work for you.

I love the bowl. It's a sturdy ceramic with pretty glaze. The whisk and matcha spoon are standard pieces, but seem good quality. It's my first whisk and spoon, so I'm not sure it's possible to be much superior. The whisk stand, while I thought I'd really like this, seems too big for the whisk when it's fitted over it. The little curls at the end of each strand are bending sideways. So, I'm going to quit using it, and just let the whisk dry by standing it on the handle end. The bowl is a good size and easy to whisk matcha and get a bit of foam. I watched some videos on matcha ceremonies to learn how to do this correctly. There's definitely some tricks to know. I would recommend this product, but that's based on being a newbie to blending my own matcha.

After 3 weeks of using it chips :( I almost swallow it. Be careful!

If your Matcha Tea lover wants to "experience" the Matcha serving tradition, this is the way to go. Authentic set, Well Made, looks great and raises the experience to a new level. This is a set you can leave out for show and daily use
