FitPro Adjustable Ankle Support, One Size, Amazon Exclusive Brand

I have various, permanent issues with both feet and will be in need of good ankle braces for the rest of my life. So, when I see an ankle brace that looks interesting I often try it out and add it to my collection if it lives up to expectations. I have used cheap, over the counter junk off the big box shelf and I have used not-so-cheap prescription ones.The FitPro ankle brace, for me, sits somewhere on the low end of a big box display. First things first, there are no splints in this support to give it any rigidity or real support in stabilizing the joint. Combined with the super stretchy material used to achieve the one size fits all and you end up with an uncomfortable half-sock. I used this after experiencing pain in my ankle and upper heal and while I was surprised it fit me as easily as it did (14EEE-15EEE), I was subsequently disappointed by the lack of support and further disheartened by the added discomfort in my upper heal caused by the thicker than necessary ridge of material presumably there for structural integrity. The velcro (hook and loop) strap is simply bare backed raw material, with no backing so it can be difficult to remove once attached and is prone to curling up and becoming misshapen.Overall, if you have a first time minor injury, this might possibly serve some benefit but no more and probably significantly less than an ace bandage. If you have suffered multiple joint injuries or have chronic ones then probably best to avoid altogether and find a more suitable solution.

This Amazon Brand FITPRO ADJUSTABLE ANKLE SUPPORT (One Size) is well made, and it's easy to strap on. It's fairly thick, so you can't wear it with tight-fitting shoes.The device provides gentle support for a mildly sprained or weak ankle, but it's no substitute for the support provided by professional wrapping or taping. The device is made of stiff but stretchy fabric, and closes with velcro.If you experience a serious ankle injury, you are probably best off seeking medical treatment right away, to find out exactly what kind of ankle support is needed. The over-the-counter products never work very well for me, so I end up going to the doctor anyway.

This is a good choice for a brace that works good and is made to last. It fits a wide range of sizes and is completely safe to use.This item is good quality and it is very much worth the purchase. This light-to-moderate support ankle brace is equivalent to the Futuro brand I bought at a pharmacy, which was middling decent quality, but at a price point about $3 cheaper. It's perfect for use when you're only lightly injured, nearly recovered, or trying to prevent reinjury, and don't need a major brace with supports & stays, etc.I normally get an adult woman's medium for brace size, and this one-size-fits-all was just right. However, there was no excess remaining on the strap that wrapped around my ankle, so I'm not sure that it would necessarily work well for someone of a larger size.

I received the FitPro Adjustable Ankle Support, One Size, Amazon Exclusive Brand.I like this for gentle support for a weak ankle I have. It is nice that you can use this for either ankle.I normally chose the larger size if there is an option. This is a one size fits all, but this is maxed out on me, so someone that would normally choose an XL might feel this is too small.For me, even maxed out, I am happy with it.
