Make sure you wipe the excess oil from the scissors before using! These scissors are nice and sharp and I love the protective leather sheath that keeps the blades from dulling and the tips from damaging anything else in my bag.

Just received these and they are very sharp.

These are nice little snippers, except for one fault: the metal pieces that slide over each other in the handle don't do so smoothly. This makes it harder to do very precise detailed cutting as that part kind of grates while you close the blades. I've tried a tiny dab of oil, but it doesn't help, probably because it's the surface of the metal part that isn't completely smooth, but has some texture.Can't really recommend them.

These are exactly what I wanted for my crochet kit! Very sharp, so it's important to put the cover back on when you're done snipping. With the cover, I can drop it into my kit and not worry about injury. Great points, sharp cut, very solid feel. Completely recommend!

Good quality, handy little snips

These are sharp and perfect for yarn or embroidery thread or for straight up snipping threads while sewing. Perfect for flying or tucking into a pouch with notions. I love the fact that there are two different colours and that they come with little leather blade protector sleeves so I don't cut myself digging around for them. They look as if they will be easy to sharpen over time and have metal housings so they are built to last. Good value for the money!
