Finally! I'd been fighting with this chair for more than a year - until now. Even wasted two rolls of duct tape trying to keep the seat from sinking. Nothing worked! But this sure did!

Ease of installation

Initially worked fine but now gets loose at times This may be due to the chair tube quality and not the product itself

Keep in mind the adjustment lever is disabled.

Easy to install but does not work as expected , after 3 or 4 days again back to position and started breaking chair base with the hook

So glad I found this after almost ordering an entirely new hydraulic rod replacement for my office chair. Super-easy installation, very sturdy, and no slippage. I'm a 320 lb. guy and this thing is rock solid. I set it up a little above actually touching the base of my current chair rod to give a little cushion when I sit down so it won't feel so stiff.Save yourself some time, hassle, and money by getting this instead of replacing your current chair rod with a different one that will just sink over time anyway.

I was sick and tired of my office chair falling but I didn't want to spend the money on a new chair just yet. Found this product and after reading reviews, decided to give it a shot. Make sure you clean the grease off the piston very well before you install, I did not which cause me to have to remove, clean, and reinstall - which did not take much time, but was frustrating nevertheless. 10/10 definitely recommend this product
