Strong enough for Steinway grand, but wheels dent oak floor
Like the headline says, these dollies are strong enough to hold up a Steinway grand piano size L. There was no bending or deflecting of the dollies and the piano rolled easily on the dollies. However, the profile of the wheels is convex, not flat. This means that all the weight on the dolly is concentrated in 3 tiny spots where the wheels hit the floor. I have oak flooring and the dollies left dents in the floor where the wheels rolled. I am very unhappy about the damage to my floors. Also, the label on the dolly is on the top and very difficult to remove. This means when I leave the dollies under the piano, the ugly label shows. The label should be on the bottom, but I guess it doesn't matter to me since I have to chuck this dollies to prevent floor damage.

No Weight Load Problems Here!!
My son (19) and I (54 yr old mom) are packing a 2000 sq ft basement rancher ourselves before a contractor comes in to get it ready to put on the market. I bought 4 of these, one for each side of whatever we are moving. And WOW has it made the job easier. Our 2 car garage is getting full in no time. We have been at this for 2 weeks and my back does not hurt. We could not have tackled this move without 4 of these. Best money spent. So far the heaviest piece out the door was an armoire. No problems with the load.

No Way 300# rated
Obviously over stated rating. I ordered because of review used to move baby grand. 300 a piece would be 900# 5-7 grand piano is 600# i lifted each corner of piano and wife put skates in place. Once all three were in place one collapsed when I started rolling it. These might be 100# rated if that. Would be ok for smaller items but I am calling BS on piano. Didnt want to spend 3 to 400 dollars on real skates because this is a one time move to finish my wood floors. Also wheels are so small that it started denting the wood so will need to put protection down. Probably would have been better off just putting protection down and rolling on the factory piano brass wheels. Was trying to make this easy. Lessons learned.. you get what you pay for. They are useless garbage now.

I couldn't have asked for anything better for moving furniture
While my husband was out of town for a week, my kids installed new flooring for me. It fell to me to clear all of the furniture out of the living room and kitchen. With the help of these amazing wheels, I was able to do that. I moved a full China cabinet, a kitchen Island, a freezer, and even all my totes. I'd put a set under a tote and give it a shove to the other end of the living room. I even took them to my church and moved a 15 foot library table by myself. I don't know how much weight I put on them, but they always stood up to it. They left no scratches on my brand new vinyl plank floor, and they even stack nicely for storage. Great product!

Good for more than furniture
I bought 4 of these to move a 900 pound wood lathe. They worked excellently! The low center allowed me to only jack the lathe a couple of inches and they easily fit under. My shop floor was not well cleaned and had a fair amount of wood shavings, but the lathe moved effortlessly. Would definitely recommend for moving heavy equipment -- and they probably work for furniture as well ;-)

Even for a Piano
I bought these in hopes that it would make moving the Baby Grand Piano easier to move. We were replacing the entire floor and wanted to make sure that we and the installers could move the piano easily. The casters worked like a charm, no hassle in putting them under the piano legs, no hassle moving the piano around, no hassle moving the piano after the new hardwood floor was installed. I may leave them under the piano. Highly recommended.

used 4 of these for my pool table in the garage
I had to drill out 1 of the casters and replace with a comparable caster that would lock on each of the 4 rollers. Works like a champ for my pool table so I can have in the garage, roll to the side and pull in the car or roll out to the center of the floor when we want to play. Pool table weighs about 500 lbs so these should last a long time. Just wish they made a version of these with 1 locking wheel so I didn't need to buy more pieces.

Sturdy enough to move a petite grand piano
I purchased these to move a 650 lb petite grad piano around a room while the hardwood floors were being finished. These held up just fine, with one dolly under each of the piano's three legs. Once in place, it was very easy to move the piano around the room and the casters did not damage the unprotected sanded floor, nor the finished floor. The piano stayed on these dollies about a week and they never buckled.I also tried to used these for a large, heavy oak cabinet and that didn't work so well because of the lower inset that these dollies have - they're really meant for the legs of a heavy table or grand piano. Overall, I was very pleased with these.
