Quality toy Quality material
Loved this toy as a kid. Lots of inferior ones online I saw this at a toy shop while traveling and regretted not buying it. Then found it here on Amazon. This has a nice braided rope with rubber ball which will not scuff floors indoors. Bought 2 for Xmas gifts. Going to get one for me for my home gym. I can’t jump rope in by basement gym ( low ceiling) this will be a great alternative. Great for coordination, cardio fun!!

useless
I picked this one because I thought the plastic ankle ring on other models would be too small for adults. I had a bunch of college athletes try this one and none of them could get it to work. Rope kept wrapping around the bottom of their shoe and in one case wrapped a kid's ankles together! I called it off before someone got hurt and missed a game!

Reminds me of my childhood toy in the 70s called the Lemon Twist

Didn't work for me.
When I was a kid, this was the best toy ever. But you didn't look like this. I was not able to get it to go around in Jump over it like I did when I was a kid. I think it was the fact that it didn't have a solid ring for your foot to go through could have been the problem

Very fun
I wanted one of these for me since my kids have a very cheap version with a light, holey ball on the end. This ball is heavy and works well when the rope is tight. It has a learning curve and doesn't forgive much. If the ball isn't spinning fast enough, the rope starts to bind and the ball gets caught on the floor. Fast enough is, the ball not touching the ground. The loop on the end is huge, but I haven't tightened it yet. My husband can do it well, I'm getting better but the rope binds up on me, and my kids are okay with it until it flies off their foot. The loop could easily be fixed with a ponytail holder for a temporary hold. It seems to be held in place very snugly. If we decide to purchase another one, it will be this one. Unlike the plastic ones with a rigid tether, this fits in a space the size of the ball.

Loved them as a kid... love it now!
Jingle Jumps came out when I was six. I loved it. When my sister saw them on Amazon, she knew I'd want one, and she was right. The rope seems a bit shorter this time around, but maybe that's just because I'm a lot taller. Yes, they are for kids, but they are a good workout for 66-year-olds too! My grandkids think it's hilarious when I use the jingle jump, and I agree, but mostly I think it's a good workout and fun.

Just keep tying itself in knots
When the orignal Footsie came out my sister has one, when Skip it made it debut I bought one for my daughter. I was excited to find this at such a low price and availible for amazon prime. I was excited until I put it on and it tied itself in a knot when I tried to skip it. Even worse... it aboslutely will not work it I am wearing socks and shoes. I am 54 years old with bad knees... if I go around jumping in bare feet I'll end up crying all night. It should have had a plastic ring to fit aroung the ankle instead of looped fabric... No joy in this toy

Skip It review
Review by Abigail aged 7. The skip it I have now is great!!!!!!you should get this skip it.If you get it,just remember,(if your REALLY good at it,remember it only goes for about 15 seconds. And how I know that it goes for 15 seconds,my great aunt was counting how many times I've gotten. And I said:Oh,that's all I could go,but stop counting because the Skip it is a little TOO tight for my ankle. So keep counting. And I'm in love with my Skip it now!Every day I can teach someone in my house.............(there's always gonna be someone in my house that DOESNT know how to do the Skip it.)My dad doesn't know how to do the Skip it,my sister doesn't know how to do the Skip it,and my mom doesn't know how to do the Skip It either.
