I originally purchased these on 9/20 (currently 12/13) on October 11th one stopped working & I ordered a replacement had to go out of my way to return the broken one, they’re good for like the first week that you out them up, they connect fine & seem to work seamlessly with Alexa however after about a week of being installed the top cover starts flying off every time you shut the door, this has not happened with 3 of them & you have to push it back down every time you close the door. This time when it popped off the batteries fell out when I went to put them back in the little metal piece that holds the batteries in popped off. I’ve tried to give these a fair shot but even if they work seamlessly with Alexa wifi connection etc they’re no good if they fall apart every time the door shuts.

Setup was easy. Worked flawlessly for several months. Then deleted itself from their app. Tried to reinstall. Rebooted. Reset. Tried everything but it will not reconnect to my wifi. However they are sending me a replacement. Which makes me happy. :)

I got this for the back door or sliding door, back in April. I thought it would be easy to install and activate.But it still is sitting on my desk. I've tried many times to get it to talk to my phone. Usually this means getting some distance from the wifi, but I've been unable to get it to connect.Simple gadget.When I get it to work, I will update it. Surely there is someplace in my yard that I can reach the wifi and be far enough away to activate the second frequency of wifi to use to connect it.

Does send notifications/alarms to SmartLifeDoes not send notifications to google home.Will respond to google assistant when asked if open or closed.Works within house with Smartlife.Does not work outside the house as a mailbox sensor in our case due to distance ~30 feet

It works really well and Wi-Fi signal reception is pretty good. There’s very little delay or lag between the door opening and the notification showing up on my phone.However, wish there was some way to reduce or change the notification/alarm sound. The app uses a ~10 second long audio clip as an alarm and you have to manually turn it off or it’ll keep ringing until the audio plays out. Pretty annoying if you have people coming and going often, but you can always just turn off the alarm if it becomes too much.

This sensor has a very small range. Originally placed them too far apart ( about half an inch) and sensor kept reading the door as open. Had to remove from wall to re-position. No guidance provided on mounting

I have it set up so when you open the front door and you come into the home in the the light in the front room comes on automatically and you can see. This is very important for safety in the home.

Cuando lo recibí funciono muy bien, pero después de algunos días dejo de funcionar y jamás volví a lograr conectarlo a mi red Wifi.
