Q: First two feedbacks indicate use for 20-25 lb dogs. Are they referencing this product for 15-17 lbs?

I have a shih tzu that weighs about 12-13lbs. I would not go any smaller for her. Honestly, any heavier like 20+lbs would be very hard to handle in this carrier, IMO

Q: How do you do the adjustable strap so it doesn't slide?

Feed the strap back through the other side of the slide---or put a safety pin in the strap to hold it in place.

Q: What type of closure does it have if any‽

No closure. It’s like a pouch. There is a clip to clip to your pet’s collar.
