I needed extra light over my kitchen sink in our apartment. This light is wonderful!We screwed in two small hooks to hold the light in place, ran the cord behind a picture over the sink, wrapped the remaining cord (it comes with generous cord length!), and plugged it into an outlet. The switch on the cord is VERY convenient! I adjust the light height easily but pulling the cord up or down so I’m getting light where I need it. The oil rubbed bronze is a nice color and doesn’t stand out when you look at the room. Guests have told me that they didn’t even notice it until I pointed it out to them.The light comes with hooks to use, but they are large and silver which I didn’t like so I purchased smaller ones for my own taste.This is a wonderful product at a really reasonable price. I now have plenty of light when I cook and clean in our kitchen!

The only part of the project that didn't suck.These are great. Got the black cord. I can't find an edison light that isn't orange or so bright white I feel like I am in a mechanics garage. And the triangle wood base I wrapped them around wouldn't stay secure to my wall. (That part is on me)But these were easy. They are long and easy to work with. I settled on dollar store 40 watt light bulbs in fairy lamps and am over all happy with this diy. Would recommend these light cords. They are stylish.

This light fixture looks great in my apartment and was exactly what I was looking for when looking for a good pendant light that wasn't going to break the bank.The trickiest thing was trying to figure out how to hang it, especially above my kitchen counter, without a bunch of unsightly cord hanging out. The cord is plenty long for us.The switch is near the outlet.So far the fixture has worked well with traditional lightbulbs and looks best with Edison light bulbs.If you're looking for a fixture to add a lamp shade to, or do one of those pendant light DIY projects, you're better off with one from ikea where the housing is made for attachments. If you're not looking to do that, this fixture looks so much more put together and sleek than our ikea ones (with out shades or covers).

This pendant is super simple, very well made, and easy to use. My husband and I have been trying to solve the problem of poor lighting in the kitchen. This is not a permanent solution - at least not yet - but it lets us put light exactly where we need it just by putting a hook in the ceiling. The light is only rated for 60 watts, but you can use a pretty bright LED or add another pendant.

I read other reviews about this light, which helped a lot. So appreciate reviews! As previously stated, this is a great looking light! Does not look cheap. Money well spent! I ordered 2: 1 black & 1 grey (haven't received grey one yet - on back-order). Nice twisted fabric-covered cord. I happen to like the on-off switch near the plug. I would prefer the switch on the socket, but those tend to be more expensive. I prefer not to use the ceiling hooks with pulley. I purchased 2 wall mounted brackets & pulley (all in one unit) -- really makes the whole combination of light & holder look more old fashioned, to me. Recommend this light!

This is a very attractive minimalist cord. Cloth covered and very sturdy in appearance, it comes with 2 screw hooks to hang as a swag from the ceiling. It’s extremely long so there shouldn’t be any need for an extension cord.I used a SENSI 36w LED plant light with it to increase the amount of light that plants in the corner of my bedroom receive. My plants are much happier now.

it looks and works as expected but tell me why mine came in already opened?? i’m not returning it since it works just fine but i didn’t sign up for buying a used product for the price of a new one. i was considering buying a second one of these but i’ll be looking for a different seller.

Best Light I have bought! I love how easy it was to just plug into the wall and hang up. I’m in a rental so installing lights in a dim lighted room was not an option, so I bought this to see. Lit up the room perfectly, and much more affordable than the actual ones at the home improvement stores around me. I can’t speak on longevity though, as after a week of owning my 90 pound dog decided the cord was a chew toy while we were gone for the day.

For the same price I could have gotten something of higher quality and immediately in local shops such as Home Depot.

These lights are great. The construction and quality is really nice. One of the best plug in pendant lights available for the price.

The design is beautiful and it added colour to the room.
