One of 3 of my favorite books

Not worth the money, just a bunch of pix, but not helpful for what I needed.

This is a great book. I love all the pottery barn style series. This one isn't as good as PB Living Rooms or PB Bedrooms, but its great to leaf through for ideas. Also check out Martha Stewart's Good Things for Organizing. I bought this book at Home Depot and it's the best reference I've found.

Perfect condition

The cover is certainly misleading. The photo on the cover makes the book seem like it will show graceful, traditional, colorful, fun rooms. Do not be mislead. The rooms in this book look drab, dusty, and musty. Yuck! It really is a book full of junky looking old things. I am not talking about antiques here, just flea market junk. Certainly nothing modern or colorful or even traditional. A real disappointment. Frankly, the free catalogues have better ideas than this.

自宅内にSOHO部屋をつくるため、購入しました。いろいろなタイプのオフィス・スペースなどが紹介されています。色使い、ディテールについても詳細に説明されていて、実用的です。全体のトーンはシンプルかつシックで、応用しやすいと思います。星４つなのは、カーテンがないか、極めてシンプルなものを部分的に利用していて、その説明もないところ。自宅をオフィスにする場合、現実的には光熱費など考えると、カーテン／ブラインドが必要ですので、そのヒントも得たかった！

私も自宅を事務所にしてるので、以前からこのような本を探してい たのですが、レビューが良い評価でしたので買ってみました。本当に素敵な内容でしたよまず、いかにも高価な家具や小物だけで部屋が作られていないのが好印象でした。とは言え、チープすぎない、大人のホームオフィスです。機能的な中に、趣味や個性が微妙なサジ加減で表現されている。その人の生き方までもが見えてくる・・・。個人的にはP144からの部屋が大好きです。私の部屋に配色や趣味が近いので、参考になりました。アンティークを上手くとりいれた大人のフレンチカントリーオフィス。こだわりの好きなものに囲まれながら、仕事をするのはいいですね。私はヒトデ（本物を乾燥させたもの）ファン？ですが、壁面などに張り付けるのは発想になかった。「やられた！」っていう感じです（笑）ホームオフィスに関係の無い人でも、素敵な部屋づくりを目指している方には参考になる本ですよ。

タイトルが「Ｗork spaces」ということで普通のインテリア本と違い皆さんあまり興味をもたれていないようですが、以外に楽しめました。　内容はその名の通りデスク周りの収納の写真が多いですが、部屋全体としてのＷork spacesとしての写真もけっこうありインテリアの本としても楽しめる内容だと思います。自室の机の占める割合の多い学生さんなどにも、机をメインにインテリアを考えた時に参考になると思います。　海外と日本の家屋の造りの違いなどもありインテリアをそっくり真似することは難しいですが、デスクワークに必要な筆記類やピンやクリップなどの小さな物の収納の仕方もたくさん紹介されているので、雑貨屋で購入した物で真似のできることもたくさんあります。

他の方のレビューをみて購入しましたが、かなりいいです。写真の見せ方も、レイアウトも素敵だし、何より参考にしたいというかまねてみたい実例がいっぱい。久々買ってよかった洋書です。
