Comeaux Caps Welding Solid 7

The rear part of this cap covers my neck so sparks don't catch there. Those used to mess with my nice beads. It also covers the tops of my ears.

Product just as expected.It is a gift for my son I'm sure he'll be pleased.

Loose and floppy above the crown of my head, but true to size around the circumference. Maybe it's meant to go over your ears and be pulled down really low, in which case you'd need to order 1 or 2 sizes larger. Whatever, it protects my hair from welding sparks, but I don't look great while doing it 🤷‍♂️

I measured my head and came up with 7 1/4, it was a little tight and didn't cover my ears. Went up two sizes and it fits perfect, so you may want to take a measurement including the tops of your ears if you want it to cover them. Gave this one to a buddy and it fit him, he likes it and I like the new one I got in a size 7 1/2. They seem pretty well made and don't make a cone head. If they last a couple months or more, the price is right.

I have several miller style and found these at almost half price. I have a large head and have difficulty finding one that fit right on my head. They go a lot further down them the Miller's and cover a lot more of my head and neck. Millers only made it to the hard hat band level. I did have to go up to an 8 from a 7 7/8. They shrink a size in the dryer.

This welding hat is comfortable to wear, fits true to size, and the construction is good.I don't weld often, so I can see this easily lasting my lifetime. If you wear it eight hours a day in a dirty environment, sweat a lot, etc, it won't last as long of course, but it's a good hat for its purpose.

single ply unlike my last cap and it dosnt seem properly starched. you get what you pay for, i would buy this again

Hat is single sided. Fabric is soft denim and not as soft as other welder beanies.
