Very good quality bee pollen!

Smooth taste and texture

Nice product. I will likely purchase it again unless I find a better brand. The only setback in the product is that each teaspoon has contained one or two grains of sand so far. I guess this is a testament to its natural state. However, the company should see what it can do to remove as many impurities as possible.

I have used bee pollen on and off for about forty years. This was my first try from Stakich, and it was a particularly good tasting batch. Maybe it was luck of the draw, but I am very pleased with it. The consistency was good - it dissolved well in kefir in a few minutes, and in smoothies, as I like to enjoy it. Dissolves pretty nicely straight into the mouth as well. Several other brands are dryer and harder, but the consistency I found with this Stakich Bee Pollen was firm enough to maintain the grains without crumbling to powder (as some very fresh local pollen might), without getting hard or gummy. Mainly though, I give it five stars for a particularly pleasant flavor - light and kind of floral. I am taking more than I usually would, because I like the taste so much (bee pollen may be an acquired taste, but I do like it).
