I bought theses shorts 8 months ago. I wear them for pickleball or casual wear. The pockets are not floppy and do not get in the way of my Pickleball playing. My main reason for buying is the zipper pockets. My iPhone fits in my front zipper pocket but it is not the larger one. The larger one will only fit is the larger non-zipper pocket. The zipper pocket on my right side is smaller and I use it for my keys. If you have a ton of keys, they will not fit there. I mean like 30 keys. My large wallet fits in the back zipper pocket easily. These zipper pockets keep my items from accidentally falling out. You need to take care of the nylon zippers. I zip them ALL up when I wash and dry the shorts. These shorts dry in 10-15 minutes. Do not over dry them. I like the fit, style, and color. Your preference maybe different. I recommend them 100% and I do not consider them to be expensive. I wish they had long pant legs with these types of pockets. I saw some for stars and the excuse for the 4 stars are questionable. Only one back pocket. Geez most people don't use them. The legs are too tight for 2X. No belt but most belts are cheap. Price too high and I don't agree. The one star is probably because the way they were taken care of. This is the first time I do not agree with the 1-star reviews.Had to update my review. I bought mine in October 2022. I looked at the reviews of 1-3 stars and totally disagree. Fits standard belts size just fine. All belts loops are good. Bought mine in October 22. Have NOT fell apart. Zippers are nylon and you have to zip them up when you wash and dry otherwise they will not last long. This is the same for all nylon zippers. Size was good and length was as shown correctly on the site and not shorter than they looked. Everybody's body is different and don't tear it down because it does not fit you! The material was light weight and good for the heat. Crotch area is just fine. The size comments are for you not everyone. Don't tear down a product because it does not fit you. The material has never made me sweat as stated in a review. I run, bike, and play pickleball. Pockets are perfect. The waist expands and actually can pull them up zipped and buttoned.

Very lite thin material, but sturdy ,cooling outside in high temperatures, pockets nice size, could be a little longer legs length.

Perfect shorts for work! I am a valet manager, and the front pockets hold my phone and wallet without fail. I am in and out of vehicles all day, and I haven't lost a thing! Very comfortable and water and stain resistant! I bought another pair within 3 days.

My grandson loves them he wants more. Comfortable, easy care, doesn't bind on his thighs.

Pretty comfortable for very warm environments. Only annoyance is that there's only one back pocket which is kinda weird.

These are very comfortable and light weight. I wear them hiking and fishing. I find them to be cooler than other shorts. Super comfortable in hot weather.

I liked the fit and feel so much that I bought several of different colors.

I like all of the front pockets. The fit is true to size. The back pocket is not what I am used to in regards to the dimensions. It could be a bit larger and deeper for my wallets sake, as well as having another one but there is plenty of storage in the front. Overall I really like the look and feel of these shorts.
