Unit did not work, but received a suitable replacement; still, perhaps not OK for "old" eyes
As noted in the headline for this review, my original unit's oxygen monitor did not work properly, but even though the unit cannot be returned (which I was not aware of when I bought it), the seller promptly responded to a poor review, sent me a replacement, and other than one thing I am very happy with it. The one thing is that my previous (but now dead) unit from a different manufacturer had a display that covered the whole unit, whereas this one only covers part of it, so although the oxygen and pulse numbers are large enough to read, and I love the graph of heart-beat history, which allows you to see if your heart is beating regularly or erratically, there is text providing additional information that I cannot read without putting on reading glasses and holding the unit less than a foot from my face, which is not the position recommended for using it. As a result, although it is a perfectly good monitor in almost every way, and if the display was larger I would give it 5 stars, I cannot recommend it for anyone who has trouble with small print. Still, since the replacement does work perfectly well except for my having to memorize what the words I can't read are, I'll let my eyes suffer, and be very happy to use it.

Easy to use and does the job
It's a user-friendly, effective tool that does the job well. The package insert is in ridiculously fine print and practically unreadable, but also pretty much unnecessary - insert batteries (polarity clearly marked on the unit itself), turn it on, insert finger. Display is bright and easy to read, and pushing the power button rotates it so that you don't go bonkers trying to read sideways or upside-down. Not a bad investment at all!

Does not Work. Showed I had
More like a random number generator than an actual instrument to measure SpO2 or heartbeat. It wouldn't work most of the time, and when it decided to show some numbers, it showed my SPO2 at 60%. I guess I would not have been able to write this review if that is the case. Tried again and it showed 90%. Most others fingertip pulse oximeter would show me around 98 or 99% for me. Utterly useless if you are trying to monitor yourself especially during the time of Covid because it is not giving you even remotely close data. Also showed my heartbeat at 201... totally nonsense. Worst, this item is not eligible for a return and refund. Not a lot of money, but I probably get more enjoyment flushing some dollar bills down the toilet than wasting my time and get frustrated.

Must have been a reject!
The spring on the battery holder which normally indicates negative should have been reversed. The positive has a spring which is not correct. It still worked. Also instructions are written so small that even with a magnifying glass you can barely read it. They are limited and in the wrong language..I guess that explains the low price. It was the same unit as another one that stopped working after 2 years, so used those instructions. What can I say!

Easy to read.
Oxygen is larger in yellow and pulse is green. Easy to read. Would buy again. I have to have at least 3 it seems ,cause I never seem to have one handy.
