Works great
** update ***Rossi is stands by their product, they reached out to me and gave me a full refund for the cups. I will be re-purchasing.I absolutely loved these cups and they worked better than the ones with the part the chickens have to press, but they started to leak by the end of summer last year after putting them in around the first week of June. It gets cold here so I didn’t use that water bucket all winter long until two weeks ago and I have had nothing with problems with my water. It leaks all the time and just what I think. I have cleaned it well enough or I think I figure it out which one is the problem a different cup is leaking And I have a mud pit in my coop. If you plan on getting this plan on buying them new every single season.

Great idea!
**Editing to add that I was contacted by the owner of them company who offered to send me new cups at no charge, I changed my review to five stars because it’s not everyday that you see a company who stands by their product, I am extremely pleased with their customer service as the owner was very thorough and emailed me through every step. I also think they have a great product and it’s peace of mind knowing my chickens have water for a few days without having to refill it everyday. 🙌🏻 Thank you!!I was looking for a chicken waterer that I didn’t have to fill up every couple of days and figured a five gallon bucket with these cups would be perfect and less messy than what I had prior. The cups were easy to install, it was so nice to have everything we needed (except for the five gallon bucket) included in the purchase.Unfortunately, we have a few cups that do not stop filling up with water once the cup reaches the maximum capacity which causes water to leak and pour out which means I’m actually refilling the five gallon bucket more than I was my three gallon waterer so I’m currently using the five gallon bucket, my three gallon waterer and another waterer just so the chickens don’t run out of water in this Florida heat because several times we have come out to check on the chickens and the five gallon bucket is completely empty after just filling it the day before. On a positive, we have this company feeder cups and they work great! We love them!

Roosty water cup
It was very easy to install and works great after a few tech problems. First they recommend a height for the holes to be drilled should be about another 2-3 inches higher, the cups dont go down fully to stop water flow when filled. 2nd thing, it vacum locks every once in a while so I had to drill to small hole close to top of bucket to keep it from vacum locking. put 2 small holes under a lip so nothing can get in there fresh water. It works great I use 2 buckets with 3 cups on both they work spot on. And no problems since I fixed those 2 issues. If I need more in the future, I will buy them again from roosty's . I did have the problem of 1 chicken trying to perch on the cups from a while. Had bucket sitting on a block so cups can drop down to shut water off. As they got bigger she stopped useing it as a perch and started useing other perches. So small chickens my take it as a perch also.

Good in warm weather and for outside use
Good in warm weather and outside, but not for freezing weather or indoors. It's a great idea, but if they freeze they are ruined. We bought additional waterers since our first ones froze, but the new ones leak too. These are fine for warm weather and outside where it goes into the ground, but not for indoors.

These are very sturdy
What a great product. But let's talk about servicing it for a second. Chickens will throw dirt inside these cups and the dirt will get caught underneath in the watering mechanism causing it not to fill with water or causing water to drain out. The fix is to pull it apart. It's only three pieces. What I did was take a Dremel and knock off the post of the hinge level with the hinge. Get a screwdriver behind there and pry it apart. Would love it if it was made out of a little bit softer plastic. Just a little more flexibility. I only installed five on the bucket so when one gets stuck or needs to be cleaned I can just unscrew it and put the new one in without draining the water. Another thing I do is add a little bit of apple cider vinegar, 1 oz for every 2 gallons and that keeps everything pretty much clean in the bucket.

These WORK!!! come with drill bit
This product is fantastic. I really like how easy they were to install, and instead of sending instructions and what size drill bit, it came WITH the right drill bit. OMG, that alone makes it worth this review. No hunting or searching, no questioning if it's gonna leak. THANK you for that bit included. Its truly what got me to write this review. Besides that they are well made and working fantasically. I've shared some extras with friends locally.

Best chicken waterer cups I’ve bought
They have worked the best out of all the chicken cups I’ve used. They don’t twist causing them to drain all the water in the bucket. The only dislike I have is they seem to be more fickle about the water level in the bucket. When the water gets low I see they tend not to refill until more water is added to increase the water pressure. As long as you keep the water bucket clean of debris these will be the best watering cups you can use. We switched all of our chicken tractors over to these cups.
