Briggs New YorkWomen's High Rise Skinny Knit Ponte Pant

I am 5’6” and weigh 175. At first I was told to get size 8, but the waist was too small. I then exchanged my pants for the next size up and they fit perfectly. The snap stays closed in any move I make.

I ordered these kind of by mistake while I was shopping for other pants. They passed the return date so I tried them on and I love them. They have the look of an understated plaid wool, but they are in fact a lightweight knit fabric that is comfortable in almost any weather. I just tried them with a brown wool sweater but can see wearing them with a white blouse or a denim jacket or so many things, even colors. So glad about this "mistake" - it's a great pair of pants.

I like everything else about the pants, except having to snap them over and over. The material is a thick, almost tweedlike material. The length is to my ankles.

These pants would have been nice but they have a snap button closure on the waist and it constantly pops open. It barely snaps and will not stay fastened. I'm going to have to get rid of them. I can't stand wearing them. Terrible.

This size is true I ordered a size 12 (200lbs and 5’2”) and they fit perfect. The material is stretchy but not too much where it doesn't keep its shape. True high waisted, goes above belly button. My problem with these pants IS the button fastener DOESN’T STAY BUTTONED! Slightly bend pops open, drops something on the ground, go to pick it up pops open, sit down pops open - Terrible! It’s a shame because everything else I love but they won’t stay buttoned. Ugh.

Briggs pants are always a good investment. I am 5'4", 155 lbs, and the size 14 is perfect! (I am thick-waisted with long legs) On taller women, your ankle might show, but that would be cute too! I would have also ordered the light colored check, but not available in my size.
