Works well
This was a gift for my son who lives alone. He likes it alot. Uses it often. He gives it five stars. It is smaller so not for a family. Great for single or a couple.

Practical size and functions
I started out this review by announcing the death of my air fryer and slapping it with one star. Having taken it apart to attempt a fix, I THEN looked up the troubleshooting instructions. Checking that the door was closed was an obvious clue, and it turned out to be the problem. Lesson learned: always check instructions before tinkering. My only gripes are the fryer basket which feels flimsy, and the pan coating which suffers from very poor adhesion. I was going to buy it again, by the way. The unit I bought was supposed to be "renewed." Having checked the inside as well as the outside, I am absolutely confident it was brand new to begin with. The deceptive description is not answerable in this instance, I guess...

How far the might have fallen.
Just did not work as I expected. We had a Cuisinart for toaster / convection oven that we would still be happily using today but one of the elements finally went out. Cheep, not really stainless if you count all the sides except the front. If all their products are like this one they (Cuisinart) are in trouble. Would not buy again...

Like brand new and even better.
Bought this on sale and refurbished. Not only did it come in a brand-new box; no blemishes and looked brand-new, . I purchased this little Cuisinart to be a solution to my gas stove that had a tendency to burn my baked items I created. Not only am I able to better predict the outcome of my oven baked goodness that I I create, its environmental impact is much less. Instead of heating up a non-convection gas oven to bake or make something for one person, the efficiencies of the convection electric electric Cuisinart is more efficient. I stand behind the name Cuisinart; The brand has done me so well over the years.
