Comfy fit. Just wondering how long they would last as tear lines have begun to appear just after a few days of use

I just received my pair of shoes today, UK size 8, and I'm frankly quite impressed with how comfortable they feel. The material on the outside has a leather-ish feel, instead of a more synthetic one. They do fit pretty well, however with just a little bit more room at my toes. Since I just got them, I'm not sure how long these will last, but I think that they could last at least a few years or so with good care.As of now, I think that these are a good pair of casual black sneakers, one of the best (for their shade) at this price range.
