MOST THINGS APPERTAINING TO ROSWELL ARE WELL WORTH A READ EVEN THOUGH THEY ARE STILL COVERED BY THE SECRETS ACT

I have personally met the Author and sat in on his lecture in Roswell New Mexico.

I was three yrs old in 1947, grew in 50s and always was fascinated with science fiction. It was probably in the 1970s before I took any interest in Roswell, but filed it away as science fiction. As time has progressed, I became much more interested and have seen many documentaries about this event. This book by Mr Carey and Mr Schmitt really “gets down to brass tacks” so to speak.It was informative and truthful.However, I did find it sad—sadness for the poor unfortunate beings that perished, and the way the witnesses(through no fault of their own) were harassed and mistreated. And, to be honest, I will never view science fiction the same. Nevertheless, I am grateful to Mr Carey and Mr Schmitt for this publication. Would highly recommend for anyone who has even the slightest interest in Roswell.Excellent read!

After reading the witness testimonies in this book, it is impossible to not be convinced that what crashed in Roswell in July, 1947 was a spacecraft from outer space. For this book to be a fake, the authors would have to be geniuses at fabrication. That they are not. It is a tragedy that the world of science is still unwilling to accept that Roswell is an unexplained aerial phenomenon. Where did the craft come from, who were its occupants, how was it flying, what caused it to crash, and what was the intent of those who were piloting it?

I wish I could give this book a higher rating than five stars, it’s that good. Ignore the petty criticisms found in some of the other reviews as their importance pales in comparison to the absolutely astounding discoveries revealed through the extensive leg work and research performed by its two indefatigable authors. This book is the magnum opus of UFO books written in the last 75 years. Simply put, if you purchase one book on UFOs, this is the book to buy. I predict many “fence sitters” will become “true believers.”In “Witness To Roswell, 75th Anniversary Edition”, we learn all about the crash and retrieval of an extraterrestrial vehicle and its nonhuman occupants. This is not a new story. Nonetheless, the book treats us to numerous new multiple-source disclosures, verified stories, and more recent deathbed confessions of the civilians who were there or the military personnel who cleaned up the crash debris and transported it to Wright-Patterson AFB. Most shockingly, we even learn that the U.S. government, through the freedom of information act, has recently admitted that it possesses materials from crashed alien spacecraft. What? We even get some albeit limited but fascinating alien autopsy results. There’s even the likelihood that one of the aliens was captured alive. We also learn of the various ways over the years the U.S. government has covered up the truth through tales of a crashed weather balloon (one day later) and more recently a crashed atomic bomb spy balloon (Project Mogul).Most alarming, we also learn that numerous civilians including women and children were outright threatened by military personnel with summary execution if they or their loved ones revealed what they saw or what they knew in frightening violation of their constitutional rights. It is these revelations that left me horrified and disgusted. I never imagined that such could occur in our country so close to the end of World War II when so many military members died in defending our freedoms. No doubt the vast majority of these perpetrators have died during the ensuing years thereby escaping any punishment that should have included long stints in Leavenworth. Even more alarming is the fact that UFO cover-up crimes continue to this very day despite more recent disclosures. It’s obvious the military-industrial complex still secretly controls the fate of our nation and what its population and civilian leaders are allowed to know. Anyone who still thinks that we live in a republic governed by the laws engendered in our constitution is sorely mistaken. When will full “disclosure” occur and the drain the swamp criminal trials begin? A small fortune has been spent regarding these secrets that was not approved by Congress and the voters. Don’t prejudge this book until you’ve read it. If the authors’ evidence were presented in court, their findings would most likely be found by a jury to be true beyond a reasonable doubt!

I find this book useful and interesting.
