Very well constructed, heavy and waterproof material.
A surprisingly robust cover at a good price for my Briggs and Stratton Storm Responder generator which lives outdoors on a patio. I can attest to the fact that the fabric is water repellant but cannot yet comment on durability over the long term. I do have every expectation based on it's material and apparent good design and workmanship that it will last a good long while. In the meantime it's keeping the generator dry and protected from dirt and the elements.Update June, 2020: This cover has been in constant use and exposed to the elements for two and a half years. Other than a slight sun bleaching of the color of the cover it continues to protect our generator and has held up incredibly well.

No good for outside storage .
Covers my generator on the back of my truck. Bought in December 2017. By June 2018 it was brittle and the corners had ripped open. Good cover initially but it only lasts a few months on generators stored outdoors. If stored indoors it might be fine but no good for Gen sets stored outside. Gotta go to local store and find something to cover set. As is August 2018, it's useless.

Poor quality
Our Generator cover fell apart in less than 4 months. Very dissatisfied with this product. As soon as I find the email address to activate our warranty will be getting a new cover or our money back.

For my new DuroMax Beast generator.
After reading less then favorable reviews for the DuroMax branded generator cover citing a tight fit and tearing easily. I browsed around and came across this gem. It fits perfectly snug while still being easy to remove and slide back over the gen. with the handles folded down. There is enough slack for the bottom to drape over the wheels. Cover barely touches the ground allowing for some air flow to avoid mold, and crumbling to collect stagnant water. There is also a covered air vent. Seams are folded over and doubled stitched and now gaps or bunching of material. Over all design, material, and construction seem to be of very good quality. I don't recall the exact price I paid at the moment but it much less the DuroMax brand.

Best feature for a generator cover
The Duromax "Beast" is a massive 12kw generator, with wheels on the outside of the frame, and double handles. A machine like this requires a cover that can compensate for these features. I was surprised to learn that this Porch Shield cover easily installed over the entire generator including the wheels. The access flap is conveniently located in a way that you can leave the handles out and still have the generator covered (mine is in the garage - cover is for dust mostly). The Velcro is thick, so it sticks very well. I imagine this would perform well if stored outside.

Very Versatile Fitting Cover and High Quality Materials
I purchased this for my Honda EU7000is. It is a little too big but by adjusting the convenient straps, buckles and Velcro strips, it works just fine. What I can't believe is that amazingly high quality of the material it is made from and the economical price. In addition, they send you a nice size spare piece of the fabric just in case you ever need to make repairs. Another nice feature is that at one end it has a velcro secured flap that conveniently accommodates the handles on the generator. I am so pleased with this cover, I bought the smaller size for my Honda EU3000is.

Great fitting, long lasting generator cover.
I bought this considering the positive reviews. I needed a good cover for my newly bought Duromax 10000EH generator. This large size fits perfectly, without any tight spots. The material is thick and looks like it will last for many years, both inside and outdoors use. This cover was only few dollars more than the Duromax cover for my generator, and had poor reviews, and being tight fitting in some areas.

Keeps the generator dry
Was slightly too big for our generator but we make it work. Has kept it dry for the whole of winter and the rainy season

Very good
Fits my generator perfectly, waterproof so far, and has handy Velcro straps to stop the cover blowing away in the wind.

Well made, blend in with the color of your porch and a breeze for regular startup maintenance.
Very nice quality and well made. The gray color is almost a perfect match for that "Porch enamel outside/inside" paint they sell in hardware stores. So if your generator is like mine, chained to a concrete pillar and bolted on my porch, this shield will help it blend with your porch.Mine did not fit exactly as my generator is 27 inches long and the shield is 26. I don't blame the shield. I believe it is a marketing from my generator manufacturer so I will be obliged to buy their proprietary products. But even then the shield fit well enough to cover my generator. It just doesn't close completely. I might sew an extension to cover the gap.Taking about sewing, I am pretty handy with my sewing machine and I was initially thinking of making my own shield. When I checked the material I would have needed, It would have cost me well over $60 just for the material. So this shield is a real saving. Also one other main advantages of this shield is; it is very easy to remove. This is very important for regular start up maintenance. Prior to have that shield, I did made many years ago a wooden box made out of 3/4 inch plywood. It was doing a great job at protecting and hiding the generator, but it was a bear to remove. That box must have weight about 60 pounds and was very unwieldy to handle. The end result is that I neglected my regular startup maintenance. I could go 2 or 3 months between startup maintenance. The end result is my generator was very hard to start. A good thing I have one of the best generator available (H...da). Nevertheless, last winter the power went off and I had a very hard time to get it started. With this shield, It is a breeze to take it off the generator. This way you don't have any excuses for not doing your weekly startup routine. You will be glad you did them when a real emergency will happen in subzero freezing conditions. If this review helped you, please consider clicking the thumbs up button. Thank you.
