Each chapter begins with a summary of a chapter in  The Clinical Practice of Equine-Assisted Therapy: Including Horses in Human Healthcare  . The summary is followed by an explanation of key concepts, learning objectives, relevant terminology, and critical questions to explore and answer. The last part of each chapter is devoted to more practical aspects. The author handles practical scenarios, experiential learning activities are given, and space for personal journal entries is provided. The chapters are concluded with a very comprehensive and useful list of resources.By systematically working through this book, therapists practicing equine-assisted therapy will enrich their academic as well as their self-knowledge. They will also be able to develop their practical skills in this field.I am of the opinion that this workbook, together with  The Clinical Practice of Equine-Assisted Therapy: Including Horses in Human Healthcare , can be utilised on tertiary level to teach equine-assisted therapy. Of course the workbook can also be be used for individual self-paced learning or for self-learning groups. The workbook content is fine. The front cover was damaged. It was bent on the bottom right corner.
