This is a really cute bear.i really like it and i'm glad i have it.My mother used to have some brooches (lizard & homemade one, etc.) that i always thought of them as special.She had a few and i had never seen a bear one before.i also love pearls so this little bear is carrying a tear drop white Freshwater Cultured pearl.Each pearl is selected by hand, these pearls are real pearls.So beautiful!The material is alloy.The pearl measures 6-7mm (0.28").The pin back closes really well.This GN Pearl Brooch Pin is so sparkly.it is inlayed with lots of shiny AAA cubic zirconia on the little bear.it will be eye-catching.This would make a real nice gift for someone who likes to wear brooches and loves teddy bears and pearls.i expected this Pearl Brooch Pin to be a little bit smaller, but i really love the size it is (1.42" high and 0.91 " wide).i hope you find this review helpful.Sabiene :)

It was hard to get a good photo of this pin because it is so sparkling. Without using flash, it looks somewhat plain, but with the flash, the reflection from the zirconia wipes out the detail.The brooch is very pretty. The pin on the back closes tightly. It seems strange that the pin closes at the top, rather than the bottom. Closing at the bottom seems like it would make the brooch less likely to fall off if the pin clasp should accidentally open. It does latch pretty tightly, though, so I don't think that will be a problem. My wife says she will have to be sure to watch it for awhile to make sure it stays closed.It is very cute and would make a great gift for anyone -- child or adult -- who likes teddy bears. It comes with a nice presentation box and pouch. It also includes a cleaning cloth.

Precious and Sparkly… I absolutely adore this Brooch. It reminds me of a vintage one that my grandmother gave me. This one is sparkly, and totally precious. I love the sweet face, and the pearl. It is sturdy and well made. It is a lot lighter in weight than the vintage one; but it is just as sweet. It looks just like the photos. I like that it is lighter weight, it will not pull as much on my clothing.

The pin is a guarantee to make a heart smile. Every detail was carefully crafted; even the clasp to lock the pin was well thought out; it is in the shape of a heart. The pearl looks like a little handbag. The brooch size is between small and medium. The pin or piece of metal to pin it to the clothing is small. When I wear it on a heavy sweater, the bear looks embedded, and when I use it on thin fabrics, it lays flat nicely. I am happy with the quality; the brooch makes a good gift.

It's tinier than expected, but it's still pretty cute. Especially like how it's holding a pearl.
