The testing process is a bit clumsy, with a separate test for each parameter. The results are easy to understand and more-or-less match those at my pool store . It's difficult to get chemical dosage recommendations, however, since you have to enter each product you intend to use and you have to interpret the impact that product will have on the water chemistry, all of which is very difficult. So far I have not been able to do it successfully.Overall, after a few month's use, I like the product, but it was quite expensive. It's definitely better than the paper tabs, but not as reliable as the pool store results -- and you really can't figure out what to do to rectify some of the problems you might discover.

i'm a reasonably smart person. this thing is not hard to use...it's very hard to use. it's possibly the reagents and not the instrument?? it provides very good results for pH. over time it is getting easier to use but don't expect the instruction booklet to teach you quickly. i had to keep at it. read, re-read, re-re read, etc.definitely keeping it. it blows my mind how difficult it is to find a good testing instrument for spa water. one more thing, it is easy to order more tablets but i wish a huge box was available for purchase. expect to use a bunch of tablets.

It worked great when I first purchased it. Within 1 to 2 months after purchase, the screen stopped working. It was really faint, but still could tell there was something on the screen but not able to read it. Shortly after that it just stopped working completely. This was very expensive to go bad so quickly. I sent an email to he manufacturer, but never got a response. Just threw away a lot of money.

For the price of 2 visits by the pool service, we’re easily staying on top of our own chemicals thanks to this easy-to-use and -read product.After several weeks, our experience is that the software is still going to take some getting used to, and the jury is out on accuracy (e.g., “Free Chlorine” consistently or at least frequently tests higher than “Total Chlorine”, which doesn’t sound right to us…)I’m glad we bought this and will update this review if anything changes for the better or worse.

99% of the time I get UR. That's it. Other cheap testing kits give me readings but this doesn't. Written off as a loss and thrown in the trash.

Seit ein paar Tagen messe ich nun mit dem PoolLab mein Whirlpoolwasser. Ich habe zuvor Farben abgeglichen, dann mit dem ApuaCheck abgleichen lassen. Es war immer ungenau und unbefriedigend.Den PoolLab kann ich nur empfehlen. Gute Verarbeitung, viele Messverfahren. Unmittelbar hintereinander durchgeführte Messung ergeben ein identisches Messergebnis. Das Gerät befindet sich mit Tabletten, Stößel und 10ml Spritze praktisch in einer Kunststoffbox. Die Küvette ist bei Bedarf austauschbar wenn sie zBsp zerkratzt ist oder man für die DPD 3 Messung eine gesonderte benötigt.Ich gebe zu, die Bedienungsanleitung ist für einen Deutschen Hersteller verbesserungswürdig. Jedoch ist sie verständlich und zur Not kann man im Internet Info Videos ansehen. Ich hatte telefonischen Kontakt zum Hersteller. Ich kann nur sagen, sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.Die App von Android ist noch nicht ausgereift aber sie läuft. Daten werden vom Testgerät nach dem Test und Verbindung zum Tablet/Handy übertragen und ist in einer Liste übersichtlich geordnet. Leider kommt es des öfteren zu abstürzen. Mir wurde gesagt, dass an der App noch Verbesserungen vorgenommen werden. App hin App her. Die Messergebnisse sind für mich wichtig... :-)
