I bought this to hold an iPad Air for music making.When extended the iPad is a bit wobbly so it didn't suit my needs, but this is perfectly fine stand for reading or taking zoom calls. The fact it folds away flat is a good feature.Omoton customer services were amazing when I gave them feedback, I now have their "Adjustable Desktop Stand Dock for iPad Pro12.9(2020/2018)/iPad10.2 (2019)", which being wider, is nice and solid.

Had this a few months now and it is still shiny white!I use it for Zoom meetings on my tablet so people aren't staring up my nose, and to hold my tablet in portrait mode to do certain apps (e.g. PuzzlePage).For anything where I have to touch the screen, the base of the tablet in the holder needs to be firmly against table, to be secure.Downside is that if I need to touch tablet when raised (e.g. during Zoom to change volume or mute) then the tablet section wobbles for ages!!It makes me happy because it is beautiful to look at, sturdy enough to hold my 10" ipad without having to take the case off, I just wish it didn't wiggle so much during use.I would not recommend this for drawing app unless willing to hold it all the time with one hand because of its tendency to vibrate under pressure, but for anything else it is splendid

Very sturdy as the sole plate has pads on it that stop it from sliding about on the surface. The adjustability by moving it up or down and the slop of your ipad is very useful. Can easily be used for a range of tasks. I have only had mine about three weeks but have used it several times to Facetime family and friends, to support my ipad higher than the table when using it as a screen with my keyboard and in the kitchen when following a recipe. I can fit my ipad while in its case easily in the holders, although the front cover has to hang down the back of the stand, which does add weight and can affect the sturdiness but that is a fault of my case being a bit chunky and not a flaw in the design of this product. When I first took it out of the box and tried it out, the mechanism was very stiff and I did have to pull on it quite firmly to increase the height, but after a couple of uses it is now very easy to move and does not slide back down. Would I recommend? Definitely.

Ordered this and a different more expensive one. Wasn't expecting much from this as it didn't cost much, and some of the reviews weren't great, but when it arrived I was very pleasantly surprised. It's a very sturdy, useful holder for phones. It is very compact when folded away so easy to take places. The base is much heavier than expected and stabilises the holder very well for smart phones, both for viewing and when typing, tapping etc. It will also hold a tablet but not quite as stable - great for just viewing but wobbles a bit when typing. The adjustable height and multiple angles of positioning the arms and head are a great benefit - the more expensive, slightly larger stand does not have this flexibility and I've found that very limiting. It means I can always get a comfortable angle for looking at and/or typing on my phone. All in all a fabulous little stand. So impressed I sent for a 2nd one for another device.

This item is mostly plastic with a metal plate encased in the base for a bit of weight. Holds my iPad, one of the older heavier ones, so no problem. A little wobbly if you need to press the screen for any reason, but once set up at right angle holds steady. Ideal for viewing streaming vids or using iPad as a screen with a Bluetooth keyboard. Folds flat for easy portability.
