Yes, you can hang this swing between 2 tree trunks

Q: Tree strap is too long. Anyway to make it shorter? I wrapped around the straps but now our swing moves side ways and hit our tree.

Please just wrap the tree straps for a few more rounds. Or you can order shorter straps on Amazon. They are universal.
