Pricey but some big perks
I've been buying AX for many years. I've learned it's important to check the number of supplement pills you get at the beginning. I frequently am missing 2-5 capsules the very day I get the supplements. So I counted the pills in this metal bottle and they are all there--180 pills.Hard to find truly vegan AX. This has no fish ingredients AND no gelatin. Just started taking. With a few supplements, including AX, I can tell within 24 hours if they're "working" because the symptoms I'm taking them for decrease quickly or just persist. I'd last tried a cheaper AX source in a POWDER FORM (gray!) and got NO symptom relief. I've only taken one dose (3 pills) of this AX brand so far and already feel symptoms getting better. Will update if anything changes, but thought the company deserves a shout-out for giving the actual advertised # of capsules. And for offering a VEGAN AX option.Oh, a BONUS for our family is these pills come in a METAL bottle instead of plastic! So less ocean-clogging after the pills are all gone! These Astaxanthin capsules are worth the cost, and live up to their description. I take two every day, and after four weeks have seen a remarkable improvement in my skin. Eczema has been reduced, and I haven't experienced sunburn from afternoon walks. I'm a believer in quality supplements to improve health. Have found Lifio to be among the most quality producers.

Slight of hand
Misleading product title. Says 12mg, 180 capsules. However, the label says serving size is 3 capsules to get the 12mg. It's really 60 servings, not 180. This product works fine, but not the bargain that I thought it was (what's the opposite of bargain?).
