I love this leash! The color is just right -- it has style, class, function and safety all in perfect harmony. I didn't get the matching collar as I already had one for my puppy I liked ( Rogz Utility Medium 5/8" Snake Side-Release Reflective Stitching Dog Collar, Orange ) and I have now decided the contrast of the two styles looks better than the matching two set.I may go with the matching collar when my puppy gets older, I'm not sure. The matching collar is a better buckle quality being metal than the one I got that is plastic, but I like the simplicity and flash of the bright simple orange I currently have on his collar.I first tried a mountain climbing rope leash to go with the collar I got, but the colors clashed being so close that it was obvious I had tried to match them and failed.What I love about this leash also is one side is the orange pattern and the other side brown. It gives it a good style to match easier with more collars.This leash also is softer to hold than the mountain climbing rope leash that if I had to grab fast may actually cause rope burn was my concern on my hand. This leash is very strong and yet soft enough I don't think it would cause any leash burn if it was pulled fast against skin. At least not as bad as the other mountain climbing rope leash would have I think.Also this at the ends has the best of any leash on the market! The handle is padded and very soft so it won't dig into your hand if your dog pulls hard. That is only on the 1" width model not on the smaller one. It's the same for all colors.Also the hook to go on the leash is NASA like genius! It will hook first try from any angle or side you come from and you simply pinch to unleash or hook it. Must have the C like hook and it has to be on the right side both angles to hook to collar -- not on these! It's genius!I was also able to get my dog tag on Amazon ( Quality Pet ID Tags for Dogs and Cats - Bone, Round, Heart, Bow Tie, Badge, Star, Flower, and Rectangle. Front & Backside Engraving. Various Colors and Sizes. Anodized Aluminum. ) for about 1/3 of the local pet store price. If you can wait a week or so for it the price and quality is great.

Have used multiple leashes for our dogs over the years, but none have compared to the quality, durability or ease of use of this leash. The scissor clasp makes securing and releasing extremely fast and easy. And the build quality is excellent. Would recommend to anyone looking for a secure and quick latching/unlatching leash.

We really like this leash. It is well built with good stitching that after five months of regular use (about an hour walk every day) does not show any signs of unraveling. The hand loop is lightly padded (not too much, but not too little) on the inside of the loop, and the leash is also reflective. The clasp can be put on without squeezing the sides (how you would take it off), however if your dog has the matching collar ( Coastal Pet Products DCP36422SAP K9 Explorer 5/8-Inch Dog Collar, Small, Blue ) you may find it easier to squeeze the release. This is due to the collars leash hook being round so the clasp may slip as you try pressing it on. Honestly it's not an issue, just something worth noting.

Very comfortable to hold. Has reflective threads all down the one side. Material has been very durable so far. Locking mechanism has proven reliable and easy to use. Can't give it all 5 stars though as the locking mechanism is heavy and tends to bang the dog's back (we use a harness by the same company). She doesn't tend to notice but it seems disproportionately heavy for it's size as well as compared to other typical leashes. But I'd still buy it again is I needed another.

Had bought the collar for my 40 lbs Huskimo. It’s beautiful on him but they didn’t carry the leash! I loved the collar so much I found the matching leash on Amazon! I’m so glad I bought it! It is so comfortable and sturdy. The latch is different but I actually think it’s way easier once you get used to it! Great product! Worth the money!

High quality and beautiful coloring on the leashes. The way they clip to the collar or harness is my favorite feature.

You know with this one that you will not have a broken clasp if your dog is a puller! The handle is also thicker than pet store purchase. Also the texture is softer on the hands. If I had 10 thumbs it would be a 10 thumbs up for this!

This leash has a double clasp so that it is impossible for a big dog to escape as is possible on a single clasp leash. It is very heavy duty. We previously bought a berry colored one 9 years ago and it is still in perfect condition. The new blue one is a Christmas present for our dog.
