Does everything that it says. And I was grateful to be able to get the color pink that I needed for my bathroom as I was having trouble finding it. I gave it four stars because the paws are a design flaw, as you can imagine with a little thought, they pool with litter. That was not the objective of use of the product. Also it needs to be a little wider, I have a standard medium covered litter box just enough for my shorthaired cat, and the width of the mat is not enough to catch litter that scatters towards the sides of the entrance. I have my box in the bathtub so it is easy cleanup, if it was on the floor, I would be unhappy with this product and having to continue cleanup this product is supposed to eliminate.

Not perfect. as the grains of litter end up all over the floor anyway, but I suppose it's an improvement. The most positive thing I can say is it looks good. And things could be worse, which they would be without the mat. But a kitten's claws do mean mat shreds are found on the floor. What I like is the mat is able to slide underneath the cage for a full cleaning, which is preferable to having to reach inside to pull it out - knowing the caught-up litter will spray all over the place. UPDATE: Turns out the mat is not durable. I found a large hole, which the kittens are making a larger hole. In order to protect this mat, I had to put in place over it a bath mat. Which defeats the purpose of this mat.

I had read some reviews that mentioned if your cat accidentally goes outside of the box and on this mat, you won’t know until it stinks. Unfortunately I found that out before I ever read the reviews. I didn’t think my cat would be one to go outside of her box but she was in a new environment so that changed a lot. I give this mat lower stars because it was a pain to clean after I did find out urine got on the mat. I just ended up throwing it away after 3 attempts. Either the urine wouldn’t come out or the soap wouldn’t come out. Horrible experience and I wish I read the reviews before purchasing.

So...I loved the color and style of this one. Unfortunately it couldn't survive my kittens. It lasted almost a whole year and then my kittens went potty on it. I tried to clean it but one peed on it and the other had the runs. It just couldn't be saved. In their defense, they had just gotten spayed and neutered and were having trouble getting in and out of the litter box and I wasn't home when this happened. I switched out the litter box and ended up buying another mat at the pet store. If they ruin the new one, I'll buy this one again. I wish there was a way to clean these types of mats easier. I tried soaking, scrubbing, and using a spray hose. Managed to get the urine smell out by soaking in Clorox. The poop just wouldn't come out all the way.

For the amount of money I paid for this I was expecting a matt that I can put under the pan with left over size to cover the entrence/ exit that my cat uses. No. it is barely the size of my hand! Easy to clean? sure it is soooo tiny you can easily pick it up and run it under the faucet but as for keeping the floor clean??? NOPE to small way to small to do any real good. Plus I had to wait for this thing for over a month to receive!
