I got these with high hopes and they did not disappoint. All the reviews I read were right. These towels are amazing. They are versatile. Sand doesn’t stick to them. They dry very fast. Very light weight. Bought these for my camper since I’m always battling wet towels. The space saving is so worth it.

I plan to use them after a shower, in my hammock, on the beach, on a picnic in the mountains, as a blanket on an airplane and as a special gift!

The towels are very soft but thinner than expected. I weighed a single towel on my gram scale and was shocked at 290g. I had expected more due to the seller's description. Shame on them.

These are great! They take up way less room in the bag and are soft and absorbent! They dry quickly and don’t get smelly. I have a Sand Cloud towel and I actually prefer these. They are a little thinner but much softer and less delicate. Not to mention the price is much better! I bought the 6 pack which was a great deal. Highly recommend.

These Turkish Fouta Towels are the only towels we use now.I first used fouta towels a few years ago and I am a convert. They are nothing like traditional, American, terrycloth, towels but they do a great job of drying you off after a shower or a dip in the pool and they take up almost no space in your linen closet. Plus, they dry super fast so they save energy, too.These towels are thin, woven, towels. The sizing is very generous, though. They are made of 100% cotton and are similar to American tea towels. The thing you need to know is that they must be washed 5-6 times to reach maximum absorbency and do not use fabric softener or dryer sheets. Fabric softener and dryer sheets reduce absorbency in every kind of towel, btw. Instead I use dryer balls, which make towels nice and soft.They seem a little strange at first but we love them. They are much larger than bath towels and they are plenty absorbent. They look great with the twisted self fringe at either end and the woven in stripes. But what I really love is that I can fit the 12 I purchased in such a small space in my linen closet. These are perfect for people who have limited storage space.I had a house fire earlier this year and lost all of my towels. I replaced them with a dozen of these and everyone is pleased.

I haven't had these towels for very long, so I can't speak to their durability over the long haul, but I have washed them all at least twice and haven't had any problems with the fringe as other reviews have mentioned. They do come with instructions not to wash them with anything that has buttons or zippers or something on which the fringe could catch and unravel, so I've been very careful about that.The colors haven't faded (they are a little bit pastel, not super bright because of the warp being white while the weft is colored, or something like that - anyway the colors are not like a tacky bright beach towel, but more elegant).I bought these to use as spa towels for guests that come to my house, when we use the hot tub. But they are actually my new favorite towels because of how absorbent and big they are. I'm a more generously sized person (55" around widest point), and it is REALLY nice to have a towel that wraps ALL the way around me with room to spare, and not have it be too heavy to hold, like my terry cloth robe, which is very luxurious but takes 3 days to dry and weighs 8 pounds.My family has also latched onto these towels as well, so while they work great for guests out of the hot tub, they are also used almost daily by the whole family.Please note, these are very lightweight towels - if you are expecting something thick like those cotton warm blankets they give you at hospitals, this is not it. These are more like a cotton dish towel, and we all know how awesome those are at drying the dishes! They are lightweight but the size makes up for it since there is more towel to use!Also, if you're using it with a wet bathing suit on, of course it is going to get wet very quickly because it will be trying to absorb all the water from your suit. Best to use after you take your suit off if you prefer to use a very dry towel instead of a damp one after swimming. That's a matter of preference though; the kids don't seem to care much, but I like a nice dry towel before getting dressed.When I can afford to do so, I'm going to buy another pack of these, because they are so great. But again, if you're the kind of person who prefers a thick, heavy, luxurious towel, this is probably not for you. These are big, but I must reiterate: very lightweight, so that you can wrap them around, and even wear them as a sarong or cover-up, and they dry FAST. I have no standard of comparison with other peshtemal-style towels but I'm very happy with them and I think 6 big towels for under $60 was a good deal.

Very happy with this purchase. I followed care care instructions I found on line (none came with the towels) to prepare the towels for first use and care for them when washing.1. SOAK THEM IN A TUB OF WATER for a few hours, or overnight if possible, before first use. This is to help swell the fibers so they will absorb water better when used. I was satisfied with the results; I did not have the absorbency problem some reviewers mentioned.2, WASH IN MILD DETERGENT, NO FABRIC SOFTENER, DRIP DRY if possible. I used Woolite for HE machine. I have dried these in the drier several times now, but I dry on low and try to take out when they are just short of dry. I think the NO FABRIC SOFTENER is the most important part here to retain water absorbency.3. IF having an occasional knot unravel in the wash and having retie them seems like a pain, check to see if they are tight before washing. I don’t do this one…haven’t had any knots unravel yet, but I know how to twist and retie if they do.I like these so much I will be buying more to give as gifts.They are perfect for traveling as they pack light and take up little room. In fact, on a recent 9 day trip to Hawaii, my family of four took 6 towels along and were still able to travel without checking any luggage. I will NEVER pack big beach towels again! I used on sandy beaches, at poolside, and boating at a lake (after the Hawaii trip). I also used as a shower towel, a cover up, a light blanket on plane, a picnic blanket, and for sun-shade.Also love the colors.

The six bath towels are each a different colour.The length is great. The width is adequate.They are good for drying yourself and for wrapping around you.They are not plush. They don't have loops of threads, like some other towels.They are not for use as a pillow.But as towels, they are excellent.

Have never tried before. I am going to be ordering hand towels next. Read instructions how to wash and maintain. It does say there will be lots of dryer lint which there was after the first was love these towels and the price.

Beautiful and soft. Love the quality and colours. Was really surprised by the little note from the Turkish manufacturer that was folded in! Makes it special to be supporting a business in Turkey and knowing they care about their customers!

I have used my towel for over a month every time I bathe. These towels are fantastic space savers. They are very soft after a couple washes and use. They work just as well as a plush towel, however they are lite and dry in 1/4 of the time. They are not warping like some of my plush towels have. They fit in the washer better because they take up less space. They require less detergent and water to clean them, because they are so lite. They are 100 % cotton, and I don’t have to put them in the dryer as they line dry quickly. They are energy efficient and require less care to work well, factors that are better for our planet. They do not get static like my plush towels, and when I wrap my hair in one, it is so lite I forget its on my head. I love these towels!I buy on Amazon often because of the pandemic and I never really have time to write reviews. The reason I wrote one today is because the people who sold these to me sent a beautiful note and two medical masks in the packaging.These kind gestures and the amazing environmentally friendly product, illustrated good, kind vendors who take pride in what they sell. I can tell this company really values their customers. I hope they are successful and grow. We need more vendors like them.
