Amazing got them all

There are many patterns in this book that are unique and very pretty. All are well illustrated and there are full instructions provided including stitch diagrams where couloir work is used. The notation of patterns is a bit eccentric in places especially for an older UK knitter used to standard knitting notation but I will work it out I’m sure. This book is in my opinion well work the price and is printed in good quality paper and bound securely.

Fifty two patterns of beautiful and useful scarves and shawls - what's not to like? Obviously I wouldn't knit all of these - who needs 52 scarves? - but I will definitely make more than one and have spent a very enjoyable afternoon working out which ones will actually make it onto my 'To Be Knit List'. Recommended.* However do note that this is the same book as '52 Weeks of Shawls' which is the hardback edition of this paperback*5 Stars.

Thus book is exactly what it says on the cover 52 beautifully illustrated patterns that might challenge you as a beginner but look well worth the effort in the long run. I have already planned a number of them into my schedule for the upcoming months and look forward to sharing them with loved ones for birthdays or other events

Good book but very small print so difficult to follow a pattern without difficulty

This book is the paperback version of 52 Weeks of Shawls (not entirely certain why the name changed to 52 Weeks of Scarves). If you already own 52 Weeks of Shawls then don't buy this because the patterns are exactly the same. This paper back version is great value (look at the individual pattern prices on Ravelry) and the patterns are beautiful and lots of different styles to suit many tastes. I will say the majority of these patterns are what I'd describe as shawls not scarves.

I was really looking forward to getting this book, I have both the 52 weeks of socks and shawls books already.The book arrived dented on the bottom of the spine and I was so disappointed to find that it is 52 weeks of shawls with a different title.I will return the book as I was expecting all new patterns.Good buy if you don't already own 52 weeks of shawls.

Wow! So many beautiful patterns I don't know where to start. I'm sure I will knit many from this book. Well worth the $$.

Esta opción es perfecta si, como me pasa a mí, no sueles tejer chales, pero quieres tener el libro y no te apetece gastarte los casi 40 euros que cuesta la edición en tapa dura.Tengo que decir que, pese a ser de tapa blanda, la calidad es buenísima. Hay algunos comentarios que destacan que la letra es muy pequeña, y es cierto, pero es que los primeros libros publicados por Laine iban con ese tamaño de letra (el primer volumen de 52 Weeks of Socks, por ejemplo, es igual. En libros posteriores, han cambiado la tipografía y aumentado un poquito el tamaño). En cuanto al color de la letra, en mi libro al menos es negro y se ve perfectamente.Resumiendo: relación calidad-precio fabulosa para los 52 patrones que lleva.En cuanto al tiempo de entrega, lo he recibido 10 días antes de lo previsto, lo cual ha sido una sorpresa muy positiva.

Livre très dense avec de magnifiques modèles. Malheureusement encore une fois la livraison n'est pas à la hauteur ! Paquet parvenu à moitié ouvert, le livre ayant été déformé et abîmé ! Ce n'est pas la première fois que ce problème se produit
