Almay Wake-up Hydrating Makeup, Beige, 0.35-Ounce

I kind of stocked up on these becuase I dont see them in the stores anymore; praying that they are not discontinued. I have very sensitive skin & not happy about paying $20+ on special name brand mineral makeup - this one is way better & when you swirl it on it feels moist/hydrating, yet its a very light powder. I do find that the shades can become a bit darker after they set into my skin; I have a medium complection & use ivory and dust over it with buff or nude. it looks so natural & I forget Im even wearing it. I definately recomend this product & hope that its still around for years to come! At this price, its well worth stocking up on - 1 container usually lasts me a couple of months with daily useOnly complaint - cannot find it in stores anymore :(& darker once sets in - helpful to play around with shades; I sometimes mix & match - but still looks pretty natural even if it's not exactly the right tone

This is my absolute favorite makeup. The hydrating feature leaves gives you a slight moist feeling when you first apply which I find to be pointless. But the coverage and color is perfect. It's nice and light for summer heat while covering any blemishes. Plus you can apply it light or build it for more coverage. I was so disappointed when they discontinued selling it in stores and was so please to find it hear on Amazon and at a great price. I don't like the brush it comes with and apply it with my own Kabuki brush.

I tried this make-up because I wanted something quick and easy that still looked good on those days I didn't want a whole make-up routine. This loose powder foundation make-up really feels cold when being applied! That's strange at first, but it felt good. After I used this make-up the first time it seemed very good, it went on smoothly, evenly, and easily. It stayed even all day and my skin didn't feel dry or uncomfortable. I also liked the light coverage it provided; it concealed minor skin discolorations (freckles, blemishes, etc.) and still looked natural. The small brush that comes with this make-up slides out of the top of the blue lid. It's a little stiff and isn't full-round, it is basically a flattened version of the shape of the lid. The second time I used the product I had a very different experience. I'm not sure why and the cause may be from the brush applicator rather than the product itself. But, the second time I used it my skin got very irritated, itchy, and slightly flushed. I wore it for a few hours and had to wash my face and apply a soothing moisturizer. Since I thought it might be possible that the small brush is just to stiff and caused the irritation, I tried the make-up with my own loose powder brush (a nice soft, full-round brush). The application was easier as the larger brush held more powder and the brush didn't irritate my skin at all. So with my own brush this make-up isn't irritating my skin. I do need to have moisturizer on before applying and I think it looks better if the moisturizer has time to absorb into my skin before applying the powder. The spf on the powder is not very high so a moisturizer with higher spf is a must if you have fair skin like I do. Overall, I like the make-up, and I will use it occasionally probably just for daytime wear or when on vacation since it's easy to use and the small size is convenient for packing.

I bought this in Neutral before and liked it a lot.I used it more as a finishing powder.This time I bought the Beige,which has the pigmentation I need to use it as a base makeup on its own.(although you will most likely need to use a concealer with it on problem spots) It looks like a natural beige on my skin w/ out that yellowish or orangish tint most powder bases tend to give me. I'd recommend giving it a try if you have the same problem finding natural looking color.

I love this makeup. I don't think Almay makes it anymore, at least I can't find it in the stores. It's a lightweight powder with decent coverage that feels good to put on in the summer time. It has a cooling effect when first applied. I recommend it to anyone that likes using a casual, easy to apply powder.

Accentuates fine lines/wrinkles. I'm 47 -perhaps better for younger people.

having VERY sensitive skin it was very difficult to find a foundation im not allergic to. this make up feels good and cooling when you put it on and very quick and easy to apply. the best part is im not allergic to it!

I have been super picky and high maintenance about my face power. I always used bare minerals or better on my face, until now. I picked this loose powder up at a store when I left my makeup at home. It is almost cold when you apply it, but this is a great tone balancer that leaves some transparency so you look like you're not wearing makeup. Great for someone with freckles that is crazy white but doesn't want to look like a Vampire. I have been using this as my daily powder for a couple months now. If I need a longer wear for night, I combine it with bare minerals, or something slightly heavier.

I was looking for powder which will set my makeup but not dry my face out and this one does that and more :DIt's the craziest feeling when applied! There really is encapsulated water in this! It gives this awesome cooling effect but makes the brush damp for milliseconds, because of that it doesn't allow to dust it with big fluffy brush. It still apply in very thin layer but it needs to be done in smaller sections. It have decent amount of coverage for a powder. It's not patchy but it takes longer to blend products on top of it than on top of ordinary powders. It has a little bit too much shimmer for my taste but in general it's so good that I'm not bothered. I love that it has SPF.I'm even using it on my eyelids if im using some eye shadows but I wouldn't do that every day. So far it didn't dry or irritate me anywhere.

Um leichte Flecken abzudecken oder einen ebeneres Hautbild zu haben genau das richtige.Sehr leicht aufzutragen, spendet Feuchtigkeit, ist sogar für extrem empfindliche Haut geeignet.Funktioniert super nur als Puder oder über der Grundierung als Fixierung.Es hält den ganzen Tag und man sieht immer frisch aus. Ich benutze aber trotzdem noch einen höheren Lichtschutz darunter, weil ich ein sehr heller Hauttyp bin.Der enthaltene Pinsel lässt sich auch gut reinigen.

I used this brand years ago and loved it. This powder is fantastic and it really does cool your skin. ASA it touches your face it feels soft and has an instant cooling effect like cool water which is a plus for me and anyone going through the menopause, for the rare times we can wear makeup.

I have brought a lot of different brands and this one I always seem to stick with, great coverage and cooling on the face, great for teens to the more mature, I definitely recommend this product
