My 8 yo is in love!
I'll start off saying if u want this quick don't order the 29! It took 3 weeks to get here and it was supposed to be prime shipped and seller was amazon. The lable on the box said it was shipped from Rawlings. As for the bat u can't go wrong for the price! I got lucky and only paid $72 on prime day. My 8yo is 50 inches and 70 lbs. He was hitting with a Rawlings prodigy 28 inch. I ordered the 5150 in the 29inch drop 11. It's a little heavier so he's swinging a little late. But he hit twice as far as normal at practice today. I went to complement him in the dugout and he was jumping for joy and saying momma i lovvve this bat! LoL he's happy and so am I.Update: After a month of using this bat both of us are still really happy with it! He's hitting further then ever and even his grounders can't be stopped! The balls are flying off this bat!

Can’t go wrong with the 5150
My son needs a new longer bat but we want to wait to wait until spring to buy one because we figure he’d grow more between fall and spring season. In the meantime though he needs something for winter training so it was a no brainer to get the 5150 especially when the 29” was on sale for $50 to get him used to a longer bat. He may need a bit longer come March and that’s when we’ll spring for a better bat to use in travel and rec, but it’s a great all around bat that he can use as a back up and his brothers can use in another season for training/back up/rec. For anyone looking for a solid bat for rec ball that doesn’t break the bank, it’s a great bat. My twins use the smaller one my oldest had first for rec. doesn’t disappoint.

Great for little leaguer who is about to age out but has grown out of his bat.
This is a phenomenal USA bat! It's perfect when your 11-12 year old has only 1 or 2 seasons left in little league but has outgrown his USA bat and you don't want to spend $$$ on another USA when he switches to BBCOR in less than a year! This is a perfect USA bat in general, without paying a fortune when they're just learning technique anyway.

First hit was a HR!
This bat has a lot of pop. My son never hit a HR before getting this bat. Very light too.

Great bat heavy for a drop 10
Bought this for my 14 year old boy. Its a big stick! He loves it but it is heavy. I have a kid on the team that swings a 34" drop 3 and this bat weighs about the same. That being said if you have a big boy who can swing the bat then he can put it out there. for a smaller kid probably to heavy
