These look nice, are easy enough to install, I needed to tap them with a rubber mallet and I have not tried to remove them yet but I shouldn't have to remove them until I have to replace the grips.Actually removing the bar ends will be easy but the parts that go into the bar may be an issue if you want to remove those parts.

Look great, but incorrect fit for 1" handlebar, too small

These bar ends are a nice alternative to the stock units if you need to replace them. The main tightening nut is concealed by an end cap that gives a nice technical, tidy appearance - and that's nice. But...Installation is straightforward, but resist the temptation to really crank hard on that end cap because remember: it's only aluminum. Loctite might be a good idea, but then you increase the odds of stripping the end hex socket when removing - nothing is permanent. On the other hand, if you really try to tighten the end cap good and snug so that you don't lose it somewhere on a ride, the machined hex socket is small enough so that you have a pretty good chance of damaging it inadvertently if you apply too much force. Words of warning.In 20/20 hindsight, I think it would be better to go with end caps that have an exposed, hardened steel socket that you can torque more thoroughly.
