Columbia Men's Woodburn 2 Wp Low-Rise Trekking and Hiking Shoes

First time I've purchased Colombia as I have tended to use another brand over the last few years, and I am very impressed. These look smarter than a casual walking shoe whilst still having an "active" design, they took no wearing in whatsoever, and unlike my previous brand of walking shoes (which purported to be waterproof with goretex but actually let water in round the tongue and toes) these are genuinely waterproof and keep my feet dry.Oh, and they were less expensive than my last brand too!!

Very comfortable and pretty lightweight shoes and of course waterproof (i did not try it in heavy rain yet, still just light rain). For my feet it does not feel tight in any part of shoes at all, it is comfortable wide for me. Shoe sole it quite low that is what i really like, i feel more stable without high shoe sole. I had Merrell Moab FST and i did not like it as shoe sole was high and heavier ,these Columbia shoes are way better.The only con is it gets warm inside so i think for summer or hot weather it would not be so comfortable but in autumn, winter and spring it is fine (UK) but note that i am kind of person who can handle colder temperature better than others so other people would not probable feel warmer with these shoes like me, except this little temperature thing i would give it 5 STARS. Design is pretty nice as well. That is initial experience, just 1 week old shoes. Great value for the price, i hope it last long as some people wrote in reviews !!!! My rating 4,5 STARS !!!!

I've been searching for a decent pair of walking shoes for what seems like an eternity! Having tried various brands to no avail and cheaper options that perished far too quickly, I decided that, "you get what you pay for" and purchased a more expensive option. As soon as I took them out of the box, I could see the build quality was very good. Trying them on for the first time, they fitted almost perfectly and felt incredibly comfortable, as if alread worn in! So far, so good. I have been walking to and from work (a mile each way) for just over a week now and they are very comfortable. I cannot speak for the waterproofing as yet, or their longevity (having had other brands that began to perish after only a few months, this is something I will be very interested in observing). I will come back to this review and update it once I have greater experience of their build quality. The only negative I have noticed (and as another reviewer commented), the laces do tend to come loose. Maybe I need to learn to tie them in a reef knot instead! At the moment, top marks, but we'll see how they do after a greater period of time and use and I will update this review accordingly.Update 23 January 2021: Well, I've had these over a year now and they have held up well, looking barely worn since I removed them from the box. The undersole has also held up well (though slightly more worn on my right foot due to my walking style). They are just as comfortable and have also provided waterproofing during some heavy rain. Laces have to be double knotted to keep them tied, although even then, after a while become loose. It's a small gripe considering the quality of these shoes. So after a year in, I can still highly recommend these walkers (first 3 photos are after a years use).Update 15 February 2022: 2 years later these are still in great condition and just as comforable. I would certainly purchase a replacement if and when they are required. Highly recommended!Update 8 February 2023: 3 years in and still going strong, only negative is the stitching has come lose at the front slightly on the right shoe (photos added). Though they are still in good shape all round especially when considering I wear these every day. I've noticed how much the price has boosted since I bought these in 2020, I paid £57 and they're now £87, which is a around a 50% increase for the same item!

5 months in, 600 miles of regular dog walking and still in good condition and comfortable. My previous Karrimor shoes fell apart after 6 months. While nearly twice the price at £70 they are proving very good value. Size 8.5 to suit my normal 8 shoe size. As noted by others comfortable out of the box, I use insoles to aid foot support and this works well. Double knot the laces and they tie fine 🙂. Hoping they will still be going strong for many months to come. Would strongly recommend.Update at 12 months...1,500 miles uppers still going okay....soles wearing out, especiallyvat the heel, have been a very good walking shoe. Have ordered another pair mainly because grip on sole will soon be gone, but overall good walking shoes

at last a shoe thats actually waterproof ,very comfortable and lightweight perfect for taking my dogs out ,they are also very light would recommend to anyone for the price

I bought a pair of these last July and by February the heel had work through so I can see the layer underneath. I have walked maybe an average of an hour a day in that time, they have lasted a lot short time than a pair of Salomans I had before.It is a shame as I really like the shoes, they are very comfortable, which is something I struggle to find in hiking shoes.

Excellent quality and very comfortable. Got a half size bigger than normal and that proved to be the right decision.

All I wear in casual shoes are Columbia; they are made with quality. I like because larger sizes are not long in the front so they look good and reduce tripping.

Se los compré a mi hijo adolescente.. y desde hace 5 meses no quiere usar otros zapatos. Muy cómodos.. y por ahora llevan 5 meses intensos sin mostrar signos de daño. Recomendables!

I wear a size 10 and these shoes fit true to size. They are relatively light weight and hold up to all kinds of environments. We hike about 3 miles everyday we can up a mountain and these shoes have held up very well. They were comfortable from the moment I put them on. I really like these shoes and interchange them with my Salomons. I highly recommend this product.

I actually bought these for my husband but the width was not wide it was narrow for his feet, so I tried these shoes for myself since my sneaks were not supportive enough for work. I love the comfort these boots shoe give to my feet and overall body. I suffer with back problems and being on my feet for a certain period of time leaves me almost incapacitated to where I’m dragging myself to keep going forward to perform my job. I wear these boots shoe when I know I am going to be on my feet for longer than expected and can move for hours without any issues with my feet, legs and body movements. Very supportive and true to fit. I took a chance on ordering the boots shoe for my husband even though I knew he was a wide fit but that’s ok I took them for myself and you can’t even tell they are mens boots shoe, I think these can be for either gender, but that’s my opinion you judge for yourself. But I personally recommend these to anyone who is steadily on their feet, your feet and body will than you!
