I love this cookbook! All the essential Indian favorites to easily make in the comfort of your own home. Tasty recipes!

So, I really enjoy reading through cookbooks, especially ones that make something like an Indian dish seem so simple. There are some foods in this book that I have been paying a fortune for at my local Indian restaurant and most of them call for ingredients that are in local stores. I haven't tried any yet, but very soon. Of course, as with any cookbook, there are also recipes that I have never heard of and have no desire to try them either. But that's o.k. That's the beauty of buying many books. If you like Indian food and want to try your hand at it, I recommend this book!

Very nicely explained recipes. Easy to understand and execute. All vegetarian and non vegetarian recipes are included in the book.

I love this little book. It has a wide selection of dishes and is easy to understand. If you are into Indian cooking, but want it simplified, then give this a try. It has something for everyone in it.

This cookbook enables one to make Indian food takeout dishes at home. Surprisingly, it doesn’t require that many exotic ingredients, mainly non perishable spices . The chicken tikka masala tasted just like the restaurant version, but I get to use high quality organic ingredients and customize the spiciness. Great little volume for anybody who likes Indian takeaway food.

Linda Chang did a terrific job with these recipes. They look amazing. Gathering the ingredients, particularly spices, is the most difficult part. I'd to go to an ethnic market. Ingredients might not be labeled in English. I'd have no basis of comparison, as am not familiar with the dishes. Probably, they aren't overly spicy for local taste preferences. I'd love to have these prepared for me.
