Disappointing - flimsy fabric and zippers.
I ordered this bag, the Transpack Edge, for my wife and the Athalon Everything Boot Bag for my daughter. The two bags were almost identical in price. Both arrived on the same day and the difference in quality was dramatic. The fabric and zippers on the Transpack are thin and look as if they will break unless handled with great care. The Athalon bag is made with a much sturdier, heavier fabric, substantial metal zippers, plus a lot of useful small pockets and a handy key clip, more padding for the backpack panel, and better backpack straps. My wife immediately packed up the Transpack for return and ordered an Athalon for herself. If the bag's weight/bulk is a big concern, this bag might be a good choice, but otherwise, for the money, Athalon appears to be a much better value.

Decent bag with some room for design improvements
Decent construction/materials and an okay design. Waterproof materials and venting are where they should be. This bag functions as a backpack-type bag, so the straps are always present (ie. not detachable or hideable). When worn, the boots are fine off to the side, but some creative packing of the main/center compartment is needed to keep hard items off your back, as there is no padding on the bag where it sits against your back. I've got fairly large boots (29.5cm / 337mm), which fit nicely into the side pockets. When loaded with boots, though, the resulting center compartment space is essentially a deep triangle shape, which also requires creative packing to fit everything. Not that there isn't enough room - I am able to fit in gloves helmet, base layer, tools, hand towel, and goggles. My biggest issue is fitting my helmet (size large) into the main compartment when the boots are packed in the sides. My helmet only fits one way (front pointed down), and it's a tight fit (ear flaps folded in). There IS, however, still enough room above/below/in it for all the other stuff needed, it's just that the bag shape is not very conducive to helmet packing. Had the bag been an inch wider, this would easily have been remedied. Additionally, I would NOT come close to fitting ski pants in with everything else. There's a nice little (~5"x10") zippered envelope attached to the top of the main compartment on the inside, too, which works well for holding smaller, loose stuff (keys, wallet, phone) so you're not having to dig thru the bottom of the bag to find after a day on the slopes. This, on top of the well-placed waterproof materials and venting are the key features for me.All in all a decent bag with room for improvements. But the improvements I'm looking for (helmet space, straps, etc.) could probably be found on bags in the higher price point. Overall, seems worth the $ at this point.

Great bag!!
Bought for our 12 year old for ski club. This bag is perfect size to hold:* Boots* Helmet* Gloves, (2 pair)* Hat* Extra shirt* Her ski coatBonus:* Pouch area for money* Spot for bottled water/snackThe bag worked great this season! She is not easy on her gear and this bag looks great now that the season is ending. For the record: boots are shoe size 9, clothing is adult small and her jacket was a North face parka. We will clean it, spray with waterproofing and use it again next year.Well worth it! Great price for the quality

great boot bag! very roomy
Update: strap is tearing and doesn't stay tightened. I messaged seller and am working on a solution.I am very impressed with this bag. I saw the exact same bag at REI and though maybe I should look on Amazon and boy am I glad I did. The same bag retailed at about $125 and I got this bag for less than half. Definitely a steal. My boyfriend is the one that uses it for his boots and I love that it carries more than just the boots itself. He has size 11 boots that fits on the two outter pockets and we fit 2 pairs of gloves, 2 goggles, 2 beanies and a face mask.I do find that this bag does come in handy when traveling. You can fit a lot in it and still have wiggle room. Don't expect a small bag when purchasing it! Remember it is for snowboots. We do place snowboard boots in them. Overall a great bag, the material is sturdy and very easy to clean off.

Nice compartments. Easy to cary as a backpack.
Nice set up of compartments. I like finally keeping my boots in a separate section from everything else.Carefully think about the size you want. I didn't want to go to big as I knew I'd overfill it and have trouble carrying it. However I have a large head and therefore a large helmet. I ended up with one that barely fits my helmet in the middle and boots on the outside. It is the right size for me, but any smaller would not have worked.

I love this ski boot bag
I love this ski boot bag! I bought one for my boyfriend for Christmas, and I liked it so much that I ordered myself one! I love that the ski boots fit nicely on the sides of the bag. In the center I have aenough room for my helmet, gloves, thermal undergarments, and snowpants. I only wished that it had room for a change of clothes. What is nice that we can store the "ski clothes" in the bag so we just have to grab it and go. When talking to my friends whom race downhill skiing, they were amazed that I found a ski boot bag for this price and this quality,,,most bags are running well into the 150.00 range! Great bag, great price!

Great Bag, Lot of Room for Boots, Helmet, and other Gear
I bought this bag to travel with on planes for ski trips. I checked the bag and had no issues. The bag is large enough to hold my boots, helmet, gloves, goggles, and other misc. equipment. Between this bag and packing other random ski gear in my ski bag I had no issue. So far the bag has held up well. The seller was great as well. I accidentally ordered a color I did not want and contacted the seller immediately asking for the different color. I did not get a response after a couple days, so I recontacted them again asking for the different color. I never got a response from the seller, BUT they did get my message and sent the color I wanted!

Perfect boot bag for me.
Good quality boot bag that holds my boots, helmet and gloves. I'd put mt lunch in as well but there is not enough room for the beer. At this price point I will be buying my family this bag. I perfect this bag over the type that have your boots laying in the bottom where melting snow can get into the boot. I'm very please with this pack style bag.
