Yes George, you can wear the patch while wearing eye classes. My husband does.

Q: Is the eye patch flat

No, its curved a little bit, if you are using this for patching look else where. Very uncomfortable and puts pressure on the eye. For a costume these would be fine.

Q: Could this work for a dog ?

It should work for large size dog, if she tolerates it. The rubber band strap is adjustable..

Q: Are these for the right eye or both?

They say "both" but the alignment of the stretch-cord is higher on the left side, making mine right-sided. The high connection is specific to the location of the nose. Just got mine and already disappointed after 5 minutes.
