Loved it!
I have patiently been waiting for Frankie's story for a hot second. As a Winter Travers' reader, I met Frankie as a teenager in Downshift and you couldn't help but fall in love with this amazing character. She's so tough and resilient but has a soft spot to her and in Holeshot she is all grown up and as sassy as ever.I love how we get to see the Jensen brothers and their women in this one. I seriously loved their dynamic and how the hero in this book interacts with them.Mostly though, I seriously loved how Frankie and Brooks relationship evolved and changed. How a man who was too busy to see past his own nose wakes up and sees the beauty in the strength that is Frankie and is man enough to cherish it.They are seriously awesome together and I can not wait to see Jay's story in this series!Take a chance on Holeshot, I seriously recommend this series! You cant help but fall in love with each and every character Winter Travers' brings to life!

Feisty addition to the series!
Holeshot was the second book in the Nitro Crew series by Winter Travers.Frankie Jensen was raised by her brothers after her parents died (Skid Row Kings series). She grew up around cars and street racing and knew her way around car mechanics. She was currently the Car Chief for Brooks Cummings Racing. She was feisty, short tempered, had no filter, and had enough of being ignored because she was a woman.Brooks Cummings was on the NHRA Racing circuit and had huge shoes to fill from when his father was a successful driver. With the pressures of running a new team, an ailing mother and a self absorbed father, he had little time to develop friendships on his crew with anyone other than his Crew Chief. As such, he had ignored his Car Chief one too many times and the plot was set in motion.I liked the premise but it was slow to start and somewhat repetitive. I was craving more depth as the storyline progressed. It also didn’t seem as realistic at times, which made it difficult to connect when that occurred. However, with that said, once we got passed the initial conflicts, Travers had multiple plots within the main storyline and it kept me intrigued to see how it would all tie together. All in all, it was a quick and enjoyable read. Travers continued building Jay’s intrigue and we’ll finally get his full story next in Redlight.

Love this series!
Frankie & Brooks have what we like to call a slow burn. The story starts out with them not really knowing each other, and they don't have a lot of interaction for the first half, really. Normally, this is something that really irritates me, because I want to read about them as a couple. In this case, the story moves so quickly & is done so well, it didn't bother me at all, and actually enhanced my enjoyment of the story!!They start to get to know one another, and pretty soon are getting up to all the steamy goodness! LOLI really loved the emotional journey they go through & the way their relationship progresses. There are also some great humorous moments that added to my enjoyment!! Two thumbs up!! : )

I raced right through this fantastic read!
Wow! Just wow. I am not sure there is more words to explain this book. I didn't think the first book in this series could be topped but as usual Winter Travers knocked it out of the park! Frankie is so tough as nails but vulnerable too. She doesn't like to admit when things hurt or when she is wrong. But she's real. I love that she is so damn real. She doesn't give in the first chance she has. She fights tooth and nail or in this case tools and engine to get what and where she wants. I love that we got to see Brooks side. He can be a total jerk absolutely but he has such a big heart and so much on those shoulders he needed someone strong and feisty to support him. Frankie and Brooks were a fantastic couple and this book was off the charts good.

Hate to Love
Frankie is a girl in a mans world. I say girl because she comes off just a little childish in this book. Throwing temper tantrums are just not it for me. I get her anger, but at times you gotta suck it up...Brooks is dealing with so much in this book...he really broke my heart. He is taking on the worl without any support. These two have a fiery relationship. Frankie quits her job as car chief for Brooks car and he has to chase her down to get her back...some where along the way these two begin to turn hate in to love. Frankie does redeem herself with her compassion towards Brook's momma...overall great read as always by Winter Travers.

You will burn through these pages!
Frankie Jensen has worked hard to make it in a man's world to be crew chief for Cummings Racing pit crew. When she realized Brook Cummings, the driver, didn't know her name, she lost her control and threw a wrench at him. That resulted in a weeks suspension and in her rage she quit and went home. It didn't take long for Brooks to realize he really needed her as his crew chief. Brooks is used to getting what he wants, he always wins! Their ride is very entertaining.I love how Winter's stories draw you in, and make you feel the characters and they take over your emotions and her HEA's❤. Can't wait to see what's next in the series!

Loved it!
** spoiler alert ** Frankie is tired of doing the work, but not getting acknowledged for it. Brooks is trying to juggle his work and family problems. She hates his guts. Will Brooks be able to prove that he isn't what Frankie thinks? Will Frankie be able to find love and keep her job?I loved the fire between these two. I loved how Brooks owned what happened and was determined to prove that he wasn't going to be that man. I didn't blame Frankie for wanting the recognition for the work she did and was proud of her for deciding to take that leap. Great read!

A man’s world
The first book left off with Frankie throwing a wrench at Brooks’ head for not knowing her name and getting suspended. She is feisty, sassy and speaks her mind whilst Brooks it’s just trying to shed the image of his father. Frankie is in a man’s world working on drag racing cars and she is the best crew chief Brooks has ever had. She knows the car inside and out and when she quits Brooks beg her to come back. This is a story about second chances and not wasting them. I can’t wait to see what this author has in store for us next!

Fantastically Good
What can you say about the amazing Winter Travers she is so amazing I absolutely loved Holeshot Frankie and Brooks what a story they have. Frankie is a laugh such a riot tells it how it is a woman that takes no sh*t. Brooks is a sexy drag racer who’s had to earn his place but still has lots to learn. Can two people with some much fire in them get along. This was such a fantastic story I love how they are one big family looking out for each other, it was great catching up with the Jenson brothers too. I know what ever Book Winter writes I’m in for the ride of my life. 5 Stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
