What I discovered was a delightful love story with all the trimmings
MAGIC, by Danielle Steele is my first read by this famous author. I had no idea what to expect. My genre is mystery thrillers and whodunits. So I kept waiting for a car crash, an assassination, a decapitation or mass shooting. What I discovered was a delightful love story with all the trimmings. The story is multi-venued in many romantic cities of the world—Paris, Milan, Rome, London, cities of India, China, Germany and the US. It begins with the annual celebration of the White Dinner held each year at a different location near a Paris monument. The tradition was started thirty years ago by a French Naval officer and his wife. Everything is white from dress to folding tables, chairs, linens, and with the best silver, crystal and china. Attendance is by invitation only. This past year some seven thousand attended at two different locations within the city. The event starts promptly at nine o’clock. At eleven p. m., sparklers are set off and at half past midnight the crowd picks up, cleans up and disappears. Not a scrap is left behind. The story centers mostly on three couples, some who met at the White Dinner. Their personal trials, love conflicts, careers and self-esteems clash and make for an interesting page turner. Steele does a great job of bringing her characters to life. At times the story seems like a narrated travelogue and dating fixer-upper. But overall I enjoyed the story and give it a rating of 4-stars.

Deja vu
If you read the affair get this at the library. Nadia and Nicolas with a pregnant actress as a mistress so much like Bennetta and Gregorio with a pregnat model as a mistress.

Not her usual
There were too many details and not story line with the characters. What difference did it make who was wearing what for a casual lunch?

Magic Abounds Abundantly
I thoroughly enjoyed this delightful novel. The characters were so real, you felt like you were right there with them all the way. The ups and downs in everyday life no matter where you live or work or travel. This novel is magic, especially experiencing love in various romantic countries, cultures and more. The relationships that most of us have all gone through in our journey of life made you feel so part of this story. I have been a DS fan for years and years and absolutely adore each and every novel she brings to us. It certainly brightened up my days when reading this. I love to just sit, relax, have a cup of tea or wine or whatever you please. Magic was the perfect title for this very intriguing, exciting, wonderful read.

NO ME HA GUSTADO NADA
Historia TREMENDAMENTE PASTELONA y MUY MUY MACHISTA.

Magic
This rating was chosen because you captured my heart, and i am sure you would of others. The dream every women desires is to find a rich man, and be pampered and loved forever. The story unfolded beautifully and had me extremly excited for Bennette, and how brave she was when she decided to end it all. When will men learn the wrath of a woman is not to be taken lightly. Excellent reading most enjoyable.
