Well written, in easy to understand language. Her descriptions of the card go a little beyond the superficial redundant explanations found in most Tarot card books.

Good For Beginners
I've been studying tarot for a little over six months so I'm still very new. I originally found this book at a library and no other tarot book I've come across has compared. It has so much information. Even if a particular scenario isn't mentioned you get a good feel for the card based on the other interpretations. I like that the book has more than the basic Love, Money, Health, interpretations that a lot of other tarot books singularly focus on.

If I could only have one book on the tarot, this would be it. I would give it 10 stars if I could. It's the one I turn to over and over and I think it's better than a lot of the ones that are more popular. Perhaps since it says it's for younger people, older people don't bother to read it assuming it's about issues teenagers have? You do not have to be a teenager to use this book, it works for all ages.

One of my favorites
I already have this book, buying the current copy as a gift for a teen who wants to learn the tarot for her birthday this year. Ms. Renée's book is excellent, even for an older woman like me. Her book is clearly written and well laid-out. She writes for "real" people and every day life. This is one of the few tarot books I keep handy. I will also buying copies of this and her other book, "Tarot Your Everyday Guide" for my Kindle 2 so I have her books handy when traveling. I do wish Amazon would fix the spelling of Janina Renée's name as an author for their listings!
