Made my own solid mount
Only wish Aeroe sold the cradle only, less mounting hardware, as I needed it to mount on my fork crown. But for it to work I had to fabricate my own mount from a piece of aluminum bar. Love the cradle on the fork crown. It is rock solid, nothing to slip.

solves a problem
My drybags have been getting friction rub holes in them when strapped directly to the handlebars. This cradle not only fixes the rubbing problem but also allows for a larger drybag if I feel like that's something I actually need.

Slips
Stayed put on the uphill but on a rattling descent, it slips towards the steer tube until finally rubbing. I tightened the bolts fully. Not sure whether the grip is lacking or the webbing stretches (both?), but it was a bummer! Now I can't return as it has been slightly over 30 days.
