For friendship bracelets, I like this thread a lot. It is softer and has a lot more luster than the floss I bought at Michaels for a comparable price. It DOES fray/bunch up a little easier than the less-silky floss I’m used to, but I actually find that I’ve had fewer issues with tangling so I have not found it more difficult to use. I will say that if you make a lot of mistakes, this is hard to un-knot, but otherwise no real downsides. (I do not use them for embroidery so cannot speak to their performance there, but I do think the floss is less fragile and breakable than negative reviews suggest)

If you are deciding between ones, you can trust me, this is the one. I got it to make more friendship bracelets, and it's an awesome deal. It comes with so many different colors and the black and whites are so helpful! Unlike other ones, these threads are well made, not cheap. They do not fray from each other. You should purchase this one.

I needed some black and white floss, and this multi color pack cost less than many with just the two colors! The quality is just fine and now I have more of a variety to choose from for my other projects.

When i first opened the package, I was in awe, it was exactly how it was shown in the picture, a great variety of colors. You get 13 White and 13 Black strings! (if u include the one white and one black from the color pack alone)

its very soft and doesnt break easily if you pull too hard, thick and very easy to work with.
