I do like it, nice strong green beam.

We like this because as we live by the sea and our neighbours used to feed the gulls ,the birds were relentless and would dive at us when they were allowed by our neighbours to rear there young ,this torch just scares them off but never point it at their eyes

I can't stress this enough, this is a very high powered laser that has the potential to leak infrared light, simply put it isn't at all built properly (which is why it's cheap); it can and will cause serious eye damage, to you, your pets, any any animals you freaks want to scare away. Then again, people trying to scare away ducks, or red listed birds should by this, and a nice mirror to test it out on.For anyone looking for a pet toy, a simple PRESENTATION pointer (for pointing at whiteboard, projections, etc.) would work wonders and will provide hours of safe fun.

As an astronomer using a pointer is a very useful tool for pointing out the constellations and stars/planets. Having used others in the past, I thought this would be ok, alas, its really not up to the job. The green dot is bright if pointed at a "surface" but the laser line can hardly be seen. The fact its USB and not AAA batteries also limits its useability so for astronomy, don't waste your money and look for a better alternative

This is what's called a long range torch !!. It is in fact a small Laser Pen/Pointer.It is definitely not the item shown in the pictures on Amazon. But hey, everyone needs a Laser Pen, ( I think ??)
